During those days we are far from God but not through Christ, we are near

If satan sees that you want to have a changing heart, he will raise some people against you, its you that needs to stand your ground and not allow the devil to gain your soul

There are four kinds of heart
The way side,rocky, thorny and good ground heart

Mat 13 vs 4-8;and when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up: some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth: and when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away. And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them: but other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.

The wayside heart are those that hears the word and the devil came immediately to take it away from them so that they won't believe

1 Pet 5 vs 8;Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

The rocky heart are those that receive the word with gladness but has no root in them, when temptation comes they dried off

The thorny heart are people full with ambitions, that is all they're concerned about

The good ground are those that hears the word and they bear good fruit with patience.

Let us assess ourselves and work on ourselves, let us come back to God, if we can seek him he will answer and give us a new heart as promised in

Eze 36 vs 26-28;A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

If God can change the life of paul that was once a blasphemer and persecutor, then no matter the kind of heart you have, if you're ready he's ready to give you a new heart

1 Cor 6 vs 9-11; Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
