A Beautiful Anniversary Escape by the Beach at Elysia Resort in Donsol, Sorsogon!🌊
Hello to all amazing travelers across the globe! 🤗😍🌎
Hello to all of my dear friends here and of course to all my dear fellow hivers in this wonderful @worldmappin community!👋🗺️
How are you all today? I hope everyone is doing fine right now. Here I am again, @lj1728 to share another travel story of mine with you all.💕

Sharing with you one of our memorable family getaways as we celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary at “Elysia Resort” in Donsol, Sorsogon, Philippines. We wanted to spend this special occasion somewhere peaceful, relaxing, and close to nature, and this beautiful resort turned out to be the perfect place for our little celebration.

We left home after lunchtime and headed to the resort, enjoying the scenic drive along the way. Upon arriving at the resort, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff. We had booked a cozy two-bed room for our overnight stay, and it was clean, comfortable, and just right for our family of three. After settling into our room, we couldn’t wait to explore the resort and its surroundings.

One of the things we loved most about Elysia Resort was that it offered both swimming pool and direct access to the beach. Our son was so excited that he immediately changed into his swimwear and spent hours happily splashing around the pool. Seeing him laugh and enjoy every moment made our anniversary celebration even more meaningful. The beach was equally beautiful, with calm and shallow waters that were perfect for a relaxing stroll along the shore.

A cute highlight of our visit was the adorable butanding(whale shark) sculpture made entirely of sand near the seashore. It was such a creative and unique display that we couldn’t resist taking several photos with it. It truly reflected the charm of Donsol, which is famously known for its gentle whale sharks.

During our stay, we also enjoyed dining at the resort’s restaurant. It was very convenient not having to leave the property to look for food. The meals were delicious, freshly prepared, and made our stay even more relaxing since we could simply enjoy our time together without worrying about where to eat.

We appreciated the peaceful atmosphere, the cool sea breeze, and the beautiful ocean view. It was the perfect setting to reflect on our eight wonderful years of marriage while creating more memories with our son. We left the next day with grateful hearts, wonderful memories, and hopes of returning to this beautiful resort again.

And that’s it for today’s blog! Thank you so much for taking the time to read my simple life story. This means a lot to me. I hope to see you on my next one. Have a nice day ahead to all of us!☺️💕
