Our Little Mall Escape During the Brownout!🛍️

Hello to all of my friends here and of course to all my dear fellow hivers in this lovely @wednesdaywalk community!😍

How are you all today? I hope everyone is doing well and happy right now. Here I am again, @lj1728 to share another simple life story with you all.💕

And because of the unexpected brownout, my husband, our son, and I decided to go and walk to the mall to cool down and spend some time together. Since there was no electricity at home and the weather was quite warm, staying indoors was not really comfortable. Instead of just sitting around and waiting for the power to come back, we thought it would be better to go out, enjoy the cool air at the mall, and take a little walk.

We did not have any strict plan when we left the house. We simply wanted to get some fresh air, cool down, and walk around. However, while we were there, we remembered that our son needed some new shorts since some of his shorts had already become too short for him, especially the ones he usually wears when we go out. Since he is growing fast, it has become necessary to check his clothes from time to time and replace that ones that no longer fit him well.

We went around every aisles in the clothes section and looked through various choices. It was also nice to simply browse around without rushing. Even though our main reason for going to the mall was escape the heat, it turned into a little shopping trip as well.

Luckily, after looking around for a while, we finally found a pair of shorts that fit our son perfectly. We were happy because we had been looking for one specifically for his everyday outings. It felt good to know our simple trip was not wasted after all.
