✈️✈️ A spectacular trip from Venezuela to Damascus in Syria ✈️✈️
Hello my dear friends, I am going to tell you about a trip I took a few years ago from my country Venezuela to Damascus - Syria, it was an interesting trip to the town of Sweda and for me to be able to get to know an Arab country, they treated me very well, thank God, it was a special trip. I really enjoyed seeing the places, I went in December it was very cold and there was snow.
The gastronomy of Damascus is a delight for the senses. Typical dishes like kebab, hummus, falafel and tabbouleh are flavors that I will never forget. Furthermore, the hospitality of the Syrians is incomparable; always willing to share their food and culture with visitors.
Hola mis queridos amigos, les voy a contar sobre mi un viaje que realice hace unos anos desde mi país Venezuela hacia Damasco – Siria, fue un viaje interesante al pueblo de Sweda y para mí poder conocer un país árabe, me trataron muy bien gracias a Dios, fue un viaje especial. disfrute al máximo viendo los lugares, fui en Diciembre hacia mucho frío y había nieve.
La gastronomía de Damasco es una delicia para los sentidos. Los platos típicos como el kebab, el hummus, el falafel y el tabbouleh son sabores que nunca olvidaré. Además, la hospitalidad de los sirios es incomparable; siempre dispuestos a compartir su comida y su cultura con los visitantes.
We were a group of people who decided to travel and get to know Damascus – Syria, we went by bus from the Barquisimeto passenger terminal to Caracas, upon arrival we headed to Maiquetía International Airport, upon arrival we were there to register and wait for the departure to Damascus Syria.
Fuimos un grupo de personas que decidimos viajar y conocer a Damasco – Siria, nos fuimos en Autobús desde el terminal de pasajeros de Barquisimeto para Caracas, al llegar nos dirigimos a Aeropuerto internacional de Maiquetía, al llegar estuvimos ahí para registrarnos y esperar la Salida hacia Damasco Siria.
We had to go to the Cyprus Airport, because we couldn't enter, we stayed there for about an hour, they gave us food and we were there waiting, from there we left for Damascus, it was an exciting and challenging experience. From the hustle and bustle of the departure airport to the hustle and bustle of the arrival terminal, experience a mix of sublime emotions. The flight was quite long and exhausting, but also full of anticipation because of the unknown that faced me when I arrived at the destination.
Tuvimos que ir hasta el Aeropuerto de Chipre, porque no podíamos entrar, ahí estuvimos como una hora, nos dieron comida y estuvimos ahí esperando, de ahí salimos hacia Damasco, fue una experiencia emocionante y desafiante. Desde el bullicio del aeropuerto de salida hasta el ajetreo de la terminal de llegada, experimente una mezcla de emociones sublimes. El vuelo fue bastante largo y agotador, pero también lleno de anticipación por lo desconocido que me al llegar al destino.
The trip lasted 13 hours at that time it was non-stop, during the flight, I had the opportunity to contemplate the views from the heights, seeing beautiful landscapes covered in snow and endless deserts. I also had time to relax, enjoy a meal on board, and strike up conversations with other passengers.
El viaje duró 13 horas en ese entonces era sin escala, durante el vuelo, tuve la oportunidad de contemplar las vistas desde las alturas, viendo hermosos paisajes cubiertos de nieve y desiertos interminables. También tuve tiempo para relajarme, disfrutar de una comida a bordo y entablar conversaciones con otros pasajeros.
When we arrived, they welcomed us very well, the people who were going to take us to where we were going to stay and then go out to see some places in Damascus were waiting for us, and we had a great time.
Al llegar nos recibieron muy bien estaban esperándonos las personas que nos iban a llevar a donde nos íbamos a quedar y después salir a conocer algunos sitios de Damasco, y lo pasamos muy bien.
Arriving in Damascus, I was greeted by the cool December weather and the unique atmosphere of the city.
Al llegar a Damasco, fui recibida por el clima fresco de diciembre y la atmósfera única de la ciudad.
The culture of Damascus is a fusion of Arab, Ottoman and Persian influences, which is reflected in its architecture, its gastronomy and its traditions. The city is full of impressive mosques, such as the Umayyad Mosque, which is one of the holiest sites in Islam. You can also find old palaces and bazaars where you can breathe the aroma of history in every corner.
La cultura de Damasco es una fusión de influencias árabes, otomanas y persas, lo que se refleja en su arquitectura, su gastronomía y sus tradiciones. The sun shines in the blue sky and the palm trees sway gently in the warm breeze. As you make your way through the bustling streets of the Souk, the hypnotic rhythm of the drums and the melodious sound of the stringed instruments transport you to another era, where beauty and tradition merge in harmony. Each curve of the road surprises you with new views and emotions, making you feel part of the living history of this ancient city.
El sol brilla en el cielo azul y las palmeras se mecen suavemente con la brisa cálida. Mientras avanzas por las bulliciosas calles del Zoco, el ritmo hipnótico de los tambores y el sonido melodioso de los instrumentos de cuerda te transportan a otra época, donde la belleza y la tradición se fusionan en armonía. Cada curva del camino te sorprende con nuevas vistas y emociones, haciendo que te sientas parte de la historia viva de esta ciudad milenaria.
I fell in love with its culture, its people and its history. Visiting this city allowed me to open my mind to new perspectives and enrich my life with unique experiences that I will treasure forever. Traveling to Damascus was like immersing myself in a story from the Arabian Nights, where magic and beauty are intertwined around every corner. Without a doubt, a destination that I would recommend to any lover of history and culture.
Me enamoré de su cultura, su gente y su historia. Visitar esta ciudad me permitió abrir mi mente a nuevas perspectivas y enriquecer mi vida con experiencias únicas que atesoraré para siempre. Viajar a Damasco fue como sumergirme en un cuento de las Mil y Una Noches, donde la magia y la belleza se entrelazan en cada esquina. Sin duda, un destino que recomendaría a cualquier amante de la historia y la cultura.
The city of Damascus is a historical gem with a history dating back thousands of years. Its narrow, labyrinthine streets are full of life and color, with bustling markets selling aromatic spices, exquisite fabrics and traditional crafts.
