My unexpected weekend

Hello everyone I hope you all had a lovely weekend. Mine was a little bit on the bumpy side. Let's just say it had a few ups and downs throughout it.

Well let's start off with there was supposed to be a very nice outing planned between me and two other guys to go to a place called City rocks a indoor climbing centre found down here in paarden island. Unfortunately I was unable to go to this due to my one friend having a problem cover up that prevented him from attending which of course through the whole plan to hell because the whole thing was supposed to be a birthday outing for him but to be honest I half expected this to happen. He's never been one to stick to a plan to well anyway as you here again a little later on in this post again.

So I started off on Saturday with going down to @zakludick to help out with transporting some pot plants from one of his family members homes to his home. We both expected this to be a bit more of a bigger job than it turned out to be and got done rather quickly the next plan was to go and get some meat for a braai for the birthday of my friend who I mentioned earlier. It was planned and scheduled for a 16:00pm to 17:00pm start and then to go into the night but this did not happen he called me up while I was helping out Zak to tell me that the braai is starting now this was at 12:00pm as I said he just can't seem to stick to a plan but that's how he always is unless something is already paid for he is unlikely to stick to a schedule. This whole change-of-pace probably came about because he decided to go out on the Friday with some of his other bugs for a bar hopping drinking time which as you can imagine didn't end too well. And with that they decided to start up the braai early but as I told him on the phone I was still busy and will come down as soon as I have finished. So in the end I finished helping Zak a lot sooner the unexpected and then headed down to the shop to go buy my meat for the braai as a thank you for helping him Zak decided to kindly pay for my piece of pork and wors that I wanted to get for the braai I just like to say again thank you very much for that Zak.

So now I am headed down to the braai and arrived me my friend and two of his friends were the only ones at this braai so just a very small little get together. Unfortunately due to their Lil bar hopping of the previous night they weren't completely up for the spray to them look so white that they were about to passed out already and my friend was definitely not in the happiest of moods so on that note the braai was cut short and only lasted about 1 hour of me being there.

I do apologize for the lack of photos in this part of the post as you could hear it didn't exactly go to well so photos were the last thing on my mind LOL.

So I got back home a lot earlier than expected luckily I did have something else I could do my mobile game Pokemon go's community day event was currently happening so I decided for the little bit of time left of the event I would see what I could get out of it. Dam days only last for 3 hours now which is half the time they used to last and it just so happened that I had arrived back home at 15:30pm and event ended at 17:00pm. So for this last hour and a half I had decided to go out for a good long walk and see what I could get out of it if obviously with the time limit I didn't do as well as I'd hoped but still not too bad here are few screenshots.

If you'd like to see the full report I'll be posting it on the Pokemon Go Community Click here if you would like to see.

Now onto Sunday. I didn't really have anything planned for Sunday so I had decided to go for a good morning walk just around my neighborhood after this I came back and then I got a call from my friend from Saturday he was asking me if I'd like to join him going down to the beach he would like to go down and vent a few frustrations. So I told him that I don't mind going with and lending a friendly ear. We're decided to go to two different beaches during this time one was called sunset beach I got quite a few nice photos of this one which I'll show you below

The second one was big bay now at this beach there is a small island just a few metres away from the beach which is accessible at low tide but it was mid tide when we arrived so we decided to still head across to it the water was approximately at our wastes at this time so well over there we got quite a few nice photos wish I shall show you here.

Just before we are about to leave before that I got any higher we saw three people standing in the one side of the beach they have located a sea bird that seem to be in a very weak and state I were trying to figure out how they could get it off the island and across to a sea bird rescue centre this was proving to be difficult because they have brought nothing with them besides their boogie boards and of course trying to transport a week and bird over stomach height water in a week and stayed isn't exactly the safest thing so me and my friend decided we'll take care I was getting it to the sea rescue centre so I used my shirt to wrap around the bird so it won't be able to flap and wiggle around too much and then fall into the water I'm also quite tall so I could keep it at a nice hight so that it would stay out of the water. So luckily in the end we got him off the island and drove him down to Sand cop which is our local sea animal rescue centre.

Thank you very much for clicking on this post and reading through it I hope you liked it and thank you for your time enjoy the rest of your week.

Ah, how I wish I could tell so many things about my weekend too and had the opportunity to spend it so intensely with so many changing plans and events and so many people around... But I can't - I was just at home. 😄
The beach you show is very beautiful. I've always admired people who rescue animals and drive them to rescue centers. In my country it is a bit difficult. Perhaps because the centers are too few and far between, if they exist at all.
