The Banker, mis impresiones y Review [ESP-ENG]

Mi querido Hiver, es un placer estar aquí de nuevo, no sin antes saludarte y desearte que estés muy bien con tus seres queridos, teniendo a la mano tus palomitas para disfrutar de tus series y películas favoritas. Hoy quiero compartirles una película que me encantó, un drama que hace algún tiempo se estrenó y para ser más exactos fue en el 2020, estoy hablando de la película ”El Banquero “ donde me dejó una gran enseñanza para tener presente que siempre debemos mirarnos en el espejo de la vida para no ser uno más del montón que se deja llevar por la corriente en sus acciones.

Today I want to share a movie that I loved, a drama that some time ago had its premiere and to be more exact it was in 2020, I’m talking about the movie ”The Banker “ where it left me a great teaching to keep in mind that we must always look in the mirror of life so as not to be one more of the bunch that goes with the flow in their actions.

¿Por qué digo esto? Imaginemos que estamos sentado, y una persona se sienta a nuestro lado usando un estilo de ropa que no se parece al de nosotros, ¡ Verdad que lo catalogamos mal de inmediato! O no nos da buena espina, hablando coloquialmente, y esto debido a que descriminamos a otros por su vestir color de piel y tantas otras cosas. En este film nos lleva a ver cómo las personas se creen superiores queriendo truncar los sueños de otros, solo por ser a la vista diferentes.

In this film we see how people think they are superior and want to truncate the dreams of others, just for being different.

En la mayoría de los casos, los primeros en no creer que podemos lograr las cosas, pueden ser los que nos rodean, como nuestros familiares, pensando que algunas cosas podrían ser imposibles porque la sociedad ha puesto en el chip de muchos que si somos pobres así seremos siempre, para dar un ejemplo. Esta historia se remonta a los años más duros para muchos, mil novecientos cincuenta, donde el color de piel era discriminado, no importaba la inteligencia o la determinación, las puertas se podían cerrar a cualquier meta que se trazara.

Esta película es un drama de la historia de Joe Morris (Jackson) y Bernard Garrett (Mackie) que demuestra que no importan los obstáculos que nos encontremos en el camino, nunca debemos dejar de trabajar para conseguir nuestros objetivos, la determinación es clave para ese fin, donde debemos buscar a las personas adecuadas para que nos apoyen, ya que no faltará quien quiera derribar aquello por lo que luchamos.

This film is a drama of the story of Joe Morris (Jackson) and Bernard Garrett (Mackie) that shows that no matter what obstacles we get in our way, we must never stop working to achieve our goals, determination is key to that end, where we must seek the right people for support, as there will be no shortage of people who will want to tear down what we are fighting for.

Y como dije al principio de mi escrito, al vivir estas situaciones nunca debemos caer en el mismo juego de juzgar o discriminar, sino ser sabios, mostrar con nuestras acciones como tratar a los demás dejando claro que no somos más importantes por posición social o color de piel, todos merecemos el mismo respeto y oportunidades para ir tras nuestras metas.

And as I said at the beginning of my writing, when living these situations we should never fall into the same game of judging or discriminating, but be wise, to show with our actions how to treat others by making it clear that we are not more important by social position or skin color, we all deserve the same respect and opportunities to go after our goals.

En cada escena de esta película, me transmitía una verdad que aunque está basada en épocas diferentes a la que vivimos, hoy en día con muchas leyes, convenios y tratados internacionales, vivimos una gran discriminación, al color de piel, posición social o por ser mujer, y una triste ironía que se ve más a menudo en países desarrollados, llegando a la desfachatez de hacer la vista gorda ante tales hechos, donde los que alzan la voz para que pare todo esto, son silenciados e ignorados ante los ojos de todos.

In each scene of this film, it transmitted to me a truth that although it is based on different times than the one we live in, today with many laws, conventions and international treaties, we live a great discrimination, to the color of skin, social position or for being a woman, and a sad irony that is seen more often in developed countries, reaching the nerve to turn a blind eye to such facts, where those who raise their voices for a stop to all this, are silenced and ignored before the eyes of all.
