What a beautiful sight, I found an insect while I was looking for wildflowers this morning and I was very happy to be able to take pictures of this beautiful little insect, this is my first time seeing an insect as beautiful as this.

Penampakan yang sangat indah, saya menemukan sebuah serangga pada saat saya mencari bunga liar tadi pagi dan saya sangat senang bisa memotret serangga kecil cantik ini, saya baru pertama kali melihat serangga seindah ini.

This insect is "Noverfly Asarkina Salviae" and in Indonesia it is called "Floating Flies" this insect often flies slowly near flowers so it is called "Noverfly" and he is seen floating near flowers. Besides his name Floating Flies he is also known as syrphid or Flower Flies and Bee Flies.

Serangga ini adalah "Noverfly Asarkina Salviae" dan di Indonesia disebut "Lalat Apung" serangga ini sering terbang berlahan dekat bunga makanya di sebut "Noverfly" dan dia terlihat mengapung di dekat bunga. Selain namanya Lalat Apung dia juga dikenal sebagai syrphid atau Lalat Bunga dan Lalat Lebah.

This floating fly has a beautiful orange color with a black band wrapped around its belly, its transparent wings are about 9mm long and have six legs. This floating fly often stands on small flowers he sucks the liquid that is on the flowers. So this floating fly is not a blood-sucking fly, it sucks honey on the wildflowers.

Lalat Apung ini memiliki warna yang indah yaitu jingga dengan pita hitam melilit di perut nya, sayapnya transparan panjang keseluruhan sekitar 9mm dan memiliki enam kaki. Lalat apung ini sering berdiri pada bunga-bunga kecil dia menghisap cairan yang ada pada bunga tersebut. Jadi lalat apung ini bukan lalat penghisap darah dia penghisap madu pada bunga-bunga liar tersebut.

The process of shooting was very enjoyable, I spent 30 minutes to photograph this floating fly he is very agile he stands on the flower for about 3 to 5 seconds then it flies again and I have to wait for the fly to stand on the flower so I can take a picture of it.

Proses pemotretannya sangat menyenangkan, saya menghabikan watu 30 menit untuk memotret lalat apung ini dia sangat lincah dia berdiri pada bunga sekitar 3 sampai 5 detik kemudian sia terbang lagi dan saya harus menungu lalat itu berdiri pada bunga supaya bisa memotret nya.

The fly was afraid of me, he disappeared a few times then he reappeared and long story short I was able to take some pictures using a smartphone camera.

Lalat tersebut sempat takut pada saya dia sempat meng hilang beberapa kali kemudian dia muncul lagi dan singkat cerita saya dapat memotret beberapa gambar nya dengan menggunakan kamera smartphone.
