Hive Power Up Day - May 2024

It's that time of the month again to increase my Hive Power or better known as #HPUD. This event takes place every first day of the month. We participate in this event not only to show our support to the Hive blockchain but also to add value or power to our votes as well. In so doing, we also increase our curation rewards.

This is my second time participating in this monthly excercise and earn a badge. To date, my HP is 1,160 with my short term goal of 1,500 getting closer.

To me, the #HPUD is symbolic show of support to the Hive blockchain since I stake Hive whenenver I have an excess. I also swap HBD to Hive from time to time. For example, today was a good day to swap. I was able to buy Hive for the price of $0.28 since HBD price is above peg.
