A beautiful Project Making: Turning Plastic Bottles Into Lantern
“The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it. Recycling is one of the simplest acts of responsibility we can take into our own hands. Each can, bottle, and piece of paper we recycle is a small but powerful declaration that we are willing to be part of the solution, not the problem.”Robert Swan
Hello everyone 🤗 How are you all doing today? I hope you're well and fine. I'm so happy I'm doing some productive things yesterday. I got the chance to appreciate this kind of activity when I finished and see the beauty and effect of recycling plastics.
I'm just overwhelmed to share to you today how I successfully made a lantern out of plastic bottles.
Yesterday was quiete a busy day for me. I searched neighbor's outside place to look for empty bottles for softdrinks knowing that my daughter had to submit a school project made from recycled plastic.

Here are the few steps to follow to make a cute and beautiful lantern
First is I equally cut the upper part of the 2 bottles.
Washed properly the bottles..See to it that it's cleaned before using it.

After cutting the uppert of the two bottles prepared it for the second step.

Carefully aligned the bottom part of the two green bottles. Sealed its bottom part using glue stick.

After it quickly dried cut it into small pieces. At least you can make 20 horizontal cuts.

Paired it by 4 pieces and paste it using transparent tape.
See to it that you secure each part with a tape.

Start creating the 5 star point by using scotch tape to secure both sides of the plastic bottles.

Repeat the same process until you completed all the star point.

Make some design accents each edges of the star at the bottom part to look beautiful and attractive.
Finish it by removing some of its scraps/waste not included in the output.
While doing the activity together with my kid made her realized that when recycling is being done to each plastics how beautiful Earth could be reducing and managing the waste.
And when it's done you can make as many as you can if you have lots of bottles. Arrange it properly.
You can add lights or decorate the finished output in your door.
This would be all for now and see you in my next blog journey..
