Today's another Sunday to be grateful for. I wanted to share one of the beautiful churches I visited in Sudlon Cebu, the church that's patronized St.John De Baptist

My sister in law invited me and my whole family to their place in Sudlon,Cebu. So I accepted the invitation though it's a late notice. So after work, we've travelled going to JY Square for almost an hour riding a grab car. It took us too long going in our meeting place because of the heavy traffic.

And then another four hours, we transferred a ride when travelling to Sudlon 1,Sitio Tabla Cebu. I never expected that very long ride π..We are still on the road 7:30pm in the evening..It's quite dark already.

Fortunately, we reached the place and happy to visit in the morning their beautiful church in Sudlon,Cebu. We've attended mass together with family. I'm so much thankful I got the chance to hear the beautiful homily of Reverend Father Albert "Abet " Uy.
After attended mass, I got closer to capture the beautiful architectures of the church. It's ceiling, the stained glass and also the altar.
This is what I focused on when I'm visiting churches π
The ceiling looked so attractive that because of its beam made from woods. It's colored Brown is so perfect matched with the lights above.

Each side of the church is a beautiful background of a colorful stained glass with some figures on the different Saints in the Bible.
It added so much beauty and light to the church.
And on the altar are the images of the Jesus Christ crucified on the cross, on He's side is the statue of Mama Mary and St.John De Baptist.
And then afterwards, we moved outside the church to find candles to light on. Asking for God's presence and guidance in our life
And then we roamed around outside the church. The place has a wider space and lots of activities were seen outside.
The church also highlighted this activity " hudyaka sa ani" wherein the place give tribute to the farmers for their efforts and love in planting fruits and vegetables.
They offered most of their harvest to the church.
Indeed a memorable Visit in the place of Sudlon,Cebu..though it's a short visit but it's full of memories π
Byeππ

Amazing, Sissy! Thatβs a beautiful way of noticing details. Your focus on the ceiling, stained glass, and altar shows an appreciation for the artistry and symbolism that often gets overlooked when people visit churches. π
