My latest Gladius Pack Opening and My Strategy!

Welcome Everyone

I would like to present my Gladius Pack opening and how I managed my fights in the latest Brawl. Let see the cards that I pulled out of the Gladius pack! 😊

1️⃣ Katrelba Gobson	Quite a good card, but needs a good protection in the backline to take advantage of her Sneak ability.
2️⃣ Trapp Falloway	WoW and Epic card! I didn't use it yet, but it looks promising, unfortunately his HP is pretty low, but if he manage to kill someone he can be deadly. ☠️
3️⃣ HugoStrongsword	Looks good in a low mana battles as a tank, thanks to his Shield ability, to reduce the incoming Melee and Ranged damage.
4️⃣ Captain Katie	Looks strong, because 3 magic damage is huge with the potential to get a kill and Bloodlust her level up. 😊
5️⃣ Chimney Wallstop	He looks like the brother of Grum Flameblade, but with a Reach ability. Together they are quite strong already, but in a Reverse Speed ruleset (maybe with the help of Yodin as well) I think they are invincible. 💪

My Battle Results and the Strategy behind it! 😉

I managed to get seven wins (2 fled) and lose one, which is a good result to get all the merit I needed to open my Gladius pack. 😉

1️⃣ The First Battle 1️⃣

The ruleset in this fight was Noxious Fumes (All Monsters start the battle Poisoned.) and Lost Magic (Monsters with Magic attack may not be used in battles.)

Usually I'll choose the LLama / Kron combo obviously, when there is a Poison ruleset, but because I couldn't bring Kron thanks to the Lost Magic ruleset I had to do a different approach.

The obvious Winner 🎉 for me in this battle is the Forgotten One and his Immunity ability (This monster is immune to negative status effects.) and the Scavo Chemist 🎉 with his Dispel magic (Removes all negative effects on the Monster in the first position on the friendly team) whom removed the poison from Grum Flameblade.

My opponent didn't stand a chance as he died from the poison and from my attacks simultaneously.

2️⃣ The Second Battle 2️⃣

My second opponent has Fled, so we will never know what kind of battle setup I set him up. 😎

3️⃣ The Third Battle 3️⃣

In this battle the ruleset was Reverse Speed, where monsters with the lowest Speed attack first and have the highest chance of evading attacks and Earthquake, where the Non-flying Monsters take 2 Melee damage at the end of each round.

My opponent prepared himself using only flying monsters in order to mitigate the damage from the Earthquake, but he didn't expect that I will bring Quora Towershead who I just refer to as a Maxi Kron. Basically she has the same abilities like Kron but with a juicy Bloodlust, which raises her damage, health and speed by one if she kills a monsters.

The LLama makes her so strong that she is almost invincible. 😎

4️⃣ The Fourth Battle 4️⃣

The ruleset was Heavy Hitters in this battle, where all Monsters have the Knock Out ability. It didn't really mattered much in this battle. My plan was to use Katrelba Gobson and her Bloodlust ability to kill the enemy backline and level her up, but unfortunately he brought Mylor and his Thorn ability killed her in the first round. Than his Hydra just finished the job easily with his heal. 😔

5️⃣ The Fifth Battle 5️⃣

The ruleset was Little League, where only Monsters & Summoners that cost 4 Mana or less may be used in battles. This ruleset is not my favourite at all, I don't like to put small mana cost monsters to my team, because I fell my hand is tied up. 😤

The battle was an exhausting one, because I used Lorna who gives Divine Shield to my creatures and my opponent used Kelya who gives +1 Speed and +1 Armor to his allies. The winner creature was Doctor Blight 💪 who survived the whole battle, because he has the Camouflage ability. (This Monster cannot be targeted for attacks unless it's in the first position.)

He killed was damaging the enemy team continously until my 3 tank soaked all the damages.

6️⃣ The Sixth Battle 6️⃣

This battle was an easy one as my enemy was scared to assemble a team against me. 😊

7️⃣ The Seventh Battle 7️⃣

The ruleset was only a Target Practice, where all Ranged and Magic attack Monsters have the Snipe ability, so they will attack the Ranged or Magic creatures first from the enemy team.

My opponent brought Quora as well, but he forgot about the ruleset, so my first target was his Mycelic Slipspawn and than the rest of his backline. My Earth Elemental fall at first, but than my opponent had a very difficult situation going through Kron and his Heal ability.

Kron and Quora is an insane combination under the right circumstances. 😇

8️⃣ The Eighth Battle 8️⃣

The ruleset was Stampede (The Trample ability can trigger multiple times per attack if the trampled Monster is killed.) and Divine Shield for everyone. My opponent tried to take advantage of the Divine Shield, because he brought a lot of creatures, so basically he can soak much more attacks than my three creatures.

Fortunately Quora is strong as a rock even tough we lost the Chain Golem she could manage to destroy all of her enemies and grow larger then I ever imageined. 😎

The star of this brawl is clearly Quora Towershead. 🎉
