In this new beginning, I could not stop talking about one of the beings that has made my life so much better. It is about my pet: Roco. He came into my life about 6 years ago, I remember he was so small that my grandfather brought him home in one of his shirt pockets. And that it was my mother who chose his name.
En este nuevo comienzo, no podía dejar de hablar de uno de los seres que ha hecho mucho mejor mi vida. Se trata de mi mascota: Roco. Llegó a mi vida hace unos 6 años, recuerdo que era tan pequeño que mi abuelo lo trajo a la casa en uno de los bolsillos de su camisa. Y que fue mi madre quien eligió su nombre.

During all these years Roco has been a faithful companion for my family and me. Although he has a rather unusual character for a dog, he is surly, not very affectionate and ausutadizo. He has shown his unconditional love in other ways. For example when he accompanied my grandfather throughout the period of his terminal illness, or how in my moments of sadness he lies down next to me...
Durante todos estos años Roco ha sido una fiel compañía para mi familia y para mí. Aunque tiene un carácter bastante inusual para un perro, es arisco, no muy cariñoso y asustadizo. Ha sabido demostrar su amor incondicional de otras formas. Por ejemplo cuando acompañó a mí abuelo en todo el periodo de su enfermedad terminal, o como en mis momentos de tristeza se acuesta a mi lado...
His upbringing has been complicated due to his behavior. I must admit that it is difficult to bathe him or pet him, as well as impossible to take him out in the street or try to socialize him with other dogs, because since he was a little boy this causes him a lot of fear. In spite of this, I do not regret, nor will I ever regret having allowed him to enter my life that October 12th.
Su crianza ha sido complicada debido a su comportamiento. Debo reconocer que es díficil bañarlo o acariciarlo, además de imposible sacarlo a la calle o intentar que socialice con otros perros, ya que desde pequeño esto le causa muchísimo temor. A pesar de ello no me arrepiento, ni lo haré jamás de haberle permitido entrar a mi vida aquel 12 octubre.
The day he is no longer with me, I will miss the afternoons on the rooftop when he would lie next to me, seeing him all day playing with his bones or with the first thing he found, his gaze fixed on me all day as if I were me to him, the most incredible thing in the world.... Today I feel very grateful, to still have him in my life and I hope to spend another year in his wonderful company.
El día que ya no esté conmigo, extrañaré las tardes en la azotea cuando se acostaba a mi lado, verlo todo el día jugando con sus huesos o con lo primero que se encuentre, su mirada fija en mí todo el día como si fuera yo para él, lo más increíble del mundo... Hoy me siento muy agradecida, de tenerlo aún en mi vida y espero pasar otro año más en su maravillosa compañía.
