Back to the Classroom Earlier Than Expected: Organizing My Space with Love and Enthusiasm [Eng/Esp]

Things don’t always go according to plan, but as teachers, if there’s one thing we know how to do, it’s adapt and face every new phase with the best possible attitude.
Recently in Venezuela, teachers were called back to start our activities earlier than scheduled. While it took us a bit by surprise, once you step into the classroom, the feeling changes completely. There is something special about being back in the space where so many beautiful things happen every day.
These past few days have been all about tidying up, wiping off dust, sorting materials, and organizing every corner. In the photos, you can see a bit of the process: boxes here and there, small chairs gathered together, crafts, containers, and tools that were waiting for us to bring them back to life.
It’s a mix of hard work and enthusiasm. Preparing the classroom isn't just about putting things in place; it's about creating a warm, welcoming environment where our kids feel safe, inspired, and happy to learn.
Seeing the tables neat, the shelves ready, and the space taking shape gives me a great sense of peace and satisfaction. A new school year is right around the corner, and even with the challenges, the heart of a teacher is always ready to welcome a new group of little minds.

¡Hola a todos en la comunidad!
A veces las cosas no salen exactamente según el calendario, pero si algo sabemos hacer los maestros, es adaptarnos y ponerle la mejor cara a cada nuevo comienzo.
Resulta que aquí en Venezuela nos convocaron a incorporarnos a las actividades educativas antes de la fecha que teníamos prevista. Aunque al principio nos tomó un poco por sorpresa, la verdad es que una vez que pisas el salón, el chip te cambia por completo. Volver a estar en ese rinconcito donde ocurren cosas tan bonitas todos los días siempre remueve algo bonito por dentro.
Estos días han sido de puro acomodar, limpiar el polvillo, clasificar materiales y poner absolutamente todo al día. En las fotos les comparto un pedacito de lo que ha sido esta faena: cajas por aquí y por allá, las sillitas organizadas, las cestas con recursos, las piezas didácticas y todo lo que teníamos guardado esperando para volver a cobrar vida.
Es un trabajo de paciencia pero también de mucha ilusión. Preparar el espacio de trabajo no es solo ordenar objetos; es ir armando ese ambiente cálido y seguro donde los niños van a llegar a aprender, jugar y compartir cada día.
Ver cómo las mesas van quedando despejadas, los estantes ordenados y el salón listo da una satisfacción enorme. Se viene una nueva etapa escolar y, más allá de cualquier reto, el corazón de maestro siempre se llena de ganas cuando ve su espacio listo para recibir a sus pequeños.
