Buen día y feliz inicio de semana familia Hive y amigos de esta estupenda comunidad, amantes de cultivar cactus y plantas suculentas.
Siempre he sido amante de la naturaleza, cuidar de las plantas es un hábito que adquirí desde pequeña mi abuela, tía y madre eran cultivadores de plantas no solo ornamentales, también de árboles frutales y hasta medicinales.
Así que haber comenzado mi propio emprendimiento y cuidado de plantas se me a echo muy fácil e interesante. Comenzar mi propio negocio de cactus y suculentas se ha echo adictivo y emocionante cada día vivo nuevas experiencias y adquiero nuevos conocimientos con estas bellezas.
Good morning and happy start of the week Hive family and friends of this great community, lovers of growing cacti and succulents.
I have always been a nature lover, taking care of plants is a habit I acquired since I was a child, my grandmother, aunt and mother were growers of not only ornamental plants, but also fruit trees and even medicinal plants.
So starting my own business and taking care of plants has become very easy and interesting for me. Starting my own cactus and succulents business has become addictive and exciting, every day I live new experiences and acquire new knowledge with these beauties.
La suculentas son hermosas plantas que se caracterizan por almacenar agua en sus hojas, tallos y raíces. Sus hojas suelen ser muy gruesas y carnosas dependiendo la especie esto varía. Estas plantas suelen darse muy bien en clima seca o poco húmedos, así que en las zonas caribeñas se puede disfrutar de una gran variedad de estas.
Succulents are beautiful plants that are characterized by storing water in their leaves, stems and roots. Their leaves are usually very thick and fleshy depending on the species this varies. These plants usually grow very well in dry or slightly humid climates, so in the Caribbean areas you can enjoy a great variety of these plants.
Las suculentas son bastante fácil de reproducirse o propagarse,muchas de sus especies con la sola caída de una hoja listo tenemos una nueva planta.
Las Suculentas pueden reproducirse por división,esqueje o por hoja, hoy te compartiré mi experiencia por esta última.
La nueva planta por hoja, la podemos obtener desprendiendo hoja sanas de la planta madre o de aquellas que se hayan desprendido o caído por su cuenta.
Succulents are quite easy to reproduce or propagate, many of its species with just the fall of a leaf ready we have a new plant.
Succulents can reproduce by division, cutting or by leaf, today I will share with you my experience with the latter.
The new plant by leaf, we can obtain it detaching healthy leaf of the mother plant or of those that have been detached or fallen on their own.
Después de esto dejamos secar las herida durante tres días, y colocamos la hoja al sol directo sin regar. Luego de unas pocas semanas veremos en los extremos de las hojas unas pequeñas raíces y en algunos casos ya los nuevos brotes o retoños.
After this we let the wounds dry for three days, and place the leaf in direct sunlight without watering. After a few weeks we will see at the ends of the leaves some small roots and in some cases already the new shoots or shoots.
En algunos casos, hay rebrotes en los tallos donde se decapitaron las hojas miremos las fotos como lo muestran. Para los cultivadores de suculentas esta es la manera más rápida de reproducir las Suculentas.
In some cases, there are resprouts on the stems where the leaves were decapitated let's look at the photos as they show it. For succulent growers this is the fastest way to reproduce Succulents.
