Today I want to share with you my latest fan art project: Ellie from "The Last of Us" in Simpsons style!

As many of you know, Ellie is one of the most iconic characters from "The Last of Us" TV series, played by the talented actress Bella Ramsey. The series tells the story of a post-apocalyptic world where humanity has been decimated by a fungal infection that turns people into bloodthirsty monsters.

My goal with this fan art was to capture the essence of Ellie and her unique personality, while depicting her in the Simpsons drawing style. I loved working on this project, as it allowed me to continue experimenting with this drawing style and better capture the character's expressions.

To create this illustration, I started by tracing Ellie's basic outlines in a graphic design program, making sure to capture her characteristic expression and pose. Then, I added details like her iconic rifle and the backpack she always carries with her.

What I liked most about this project was being able to play with the vibrant colors and the Simpsons animation style, which allow Ellie's personality to be expressed in a very particular way. Just like in the series, the version of Ellie I created is strong, brave and determined, but she also has a sweet and vulnerable side.

Overall, this project was a fun and challenging experience for me as a digital artist. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes mi último proyecto de fan art: ¡Ellie de "The Last of Us" al estilo de los Simpson!

Como muchos de ustedes saben, Ellie es uno de los personajes más icónicos de la serie de televisión "The Last of Us", interpretado por la talentosa actriz Bella Ramsey. La serie cuenta la historia de un mundo postapocalíptico donde la humanidad ha sido diezmada por una infección fúngica que convierte a las personas en monstruos sedientos de sangre.

Mi objetivo con este fan art era capturar la esencia de Ellie y su personalidad única, mientras la representaba en el estilo de dibujo de los Simpson. Me encantó trabajar en este proyecto, ya que me permitió seguir experimentando con este estilo de dibujo y captar de una mejor manera las expresiones del personaje.

Para crear esta ilustración, comencé trazando los contornos básicos de Ellie en un programa de diseño gráfico, asegurándome de capturar su expresión y postura característica. Luego, agregué detalles como su icónico rifle y la mochila que siempre lleva consigo.

Lo que más me gustó de este proyecto fue poder jugar con los colores vibrantes y el estilo de animación de los Simpson, que permiten expresar de una manera muy particular la personalidad de Ellie. Al igual que en la serie, la versión de Ellie que creé es fuerte, valiente y decidida, pero también tiene un lado dulce y vulnerable.

En general, este proyecto fue una experiencia divertida y desafiante para mí como artista digital. Process / Proceso

First, I started by looking up references for Ellie and the Simpsons characters so that I could effectively blend them together. Next, I created a new layer in my graphic design program and started sketching the basic outlines of Ellie in the Simpsons style, making sure to capture her characteristic expression and posture.

I then added details such as her iconic braids and the backpack she always carries, adjusting the size and position of each element until I achieved a cohesive look. At this stage, I also decided on the colors I would use in the illustration, guided mainly by the color palette used by Ellie in her video game version.

Once I had the basic elements of the illustration, I started working on the details, adding shadows and highlights to give depth and dimension to the drawing. I made sure that the dark and light tones were consistent throughout the drawing and that the shadows were in the right place.

Throughout, I made sure to review the drawing and make necessary adjustments to make it look as close as possible to my vision of Ellie in the Simpsons style.

Finally, I adjusted the background I wanted to show a ruined city in the background with soft, pastel colors, making sure everything looked cohesive and aesthetically pleasing.

Overall, this was a fun and creative process for me as a digital artist, and I hope this summary has given you an idea of how an illustration like this can be created.

En primer lugar, comencé por buscar referencias de Ellie y los personajes de los Simpson para poder fusionarlos de manera efectiva. Después, creé una nueva capa en mi programa de diseño gráfico y comencé a esbozar los contornos básicos de Ellie en el estilo de los Simpson, asegurándome de capturar su expresión y postura característica.

Luego, fui agregando detalles como sus icónicas trenzas y la mochila que siempre lleva consigo, ajustando el tamaño y la posición de cada elemento hasta lograr una apariencia cohesiva. En esta etapa, también decidí los colores que usaría en la ilustración, guiandome principalmente de la paleta de colores que usa Ellie en su versión de vídeo juegos.

Una vez que tuve los elementos básicos de la ilustración, comencé a trabajar en los detalles, añadí sombras y luces para dar profundidad y dimensión al dibujo. Me aseguré de que los tonos oscuros y claros fueran consistentes en todo el dibujo y que las sombras estuvieran en el lugar correcto.

En todo momento, me aseguré de revisar el dibujo y hacer ajustes necesarios para que se viera lo más parecido posible a mi visión de Ellie en el estilo de los Simpson.

Finalmente, ajusté el fondo quise mostrar una ciudad en ruinas al fondo con colores pasteles y suaves, asegurándome de que todo se veía coherente y estéticamente agradable.

En general, este fue un proceso divertido y creativo para mí como artista digital, y espero que este resumen les haya brindado una idea de cómo se puede crear una ilustración como esta.
