Beautiful moments of our family on Friday.

I hope you are all well and enjoying a blessed Ramadan. I enjoy the holy month, balancing my daily life at home and outside. This Friday will be a very different start for me. After waking up and getting my daughter ready, I went to the hospital. I had a root canal and filling done a few days ago, and this was the third day since the procedure was done. Upon arrival, my dentist performed a detailed examination and treatment and scheduled another appointment for further tests.

After the dentist visit we headed straight to the nearby swimming pool. My daughter has a strong passion for swimming and we were eagerly waiting for her to learn it properly. Every Friday we give her time to practice swimming and her excitement at the sight of the pool is always touching. We provide encouragement and support during this session.

After a pleasant swim with her father, we returned home just in time for Friday prayers. I bathed myself and my daughter and then offered the Zuhr prayer. After the prayer I fed him and put him to sleep because he was tired after swimming. Joining him for a short rest, we woke up around 4.30pm, realizing that we were having Iftar with friends and colleagues.

Since it was the weekend and we were away from our extended family, we decided to host Iftar together. We hurriedly got ready and headed towards our destination, the Chittagong Boat Club. The beauty of the place, especially during the holy month of Ramadan and just before iftar, is truly indescribable. The peaceful atmosphere strengthened by God's creation fills our hearts with gratitude and serenity.

Upon arrival my daughter had to play with her friends while we waited for the call to break the fast. Being away from our main house, we miss family gatherings during iftar. However, these small meetings with friends and colleagues served to console our desire. Together we shared Allah's blessings and expressed gratitude for His constant bestowal upon us.

In conclusion, my Ramadan weekend was simple but fulfilling. Despite the struggle of balancing daily activities, the moments spent with family, friends and in prayer were truly joyful. Ramadan serves as a reminder of the importance of gratitude, community, and spiritual reflection, and I am grateful for the opportunity to experience its blessings daily.
