Una breve descripción de mi

Sí, como la canción del Cuarteto de nos. Soy Jesús Velásquez Lucart, soy fiel creyente de las ideas, si le tienes fe, existen, de lo contrario solo mueren, hay mucho para contar de mi, aunque muchas veces cuesta hablar de mi sin sonar egocéntrico y vanidoso (Pero créanme que no lo soy).

Comencemos por lo básico, mi tesoro más preciado es el tiempo, es algo que nunca se recupera, por eso mi muestra de afecto principal es esa, brindar mi tiempo y mi gratitud, normalmente me cuesta relacionarme con las personas, tiendo a ser intenso, odioso y a veces excesivamente motivante.

I am Jesús Velásquez Lucart, I am a faithful believer of ideas, if you have faith in them, they exist, otherwise they just die, there is a lot to tell about me, although many times it is hard to talk about me without sounding egocentric and vain (but believe me I am not).

Let's start with the basics, my most precious treasure is time, it is something that is never recovered, that's why my main show of affection is that, to give my time and my gratitude, normally I find it hard to relate to people, I tend to be intense, hateful and sometimes excessively motivating.

Soy fanático a morir de las palabras, del arte, y de las buenas costumbres. Cada una de estas palabras definen quien soy, son los pilares de mi personalidad así que vamos con la base: Las palabras.

Encontré sentido en las palabras cuando tuve la conciencia de preguntarme ¿Quien soy? Y ¿Cómo le digo a las personas quienes son para mi? (Lo malo de crecer con adultos es que no te alcanza el tiempo para jugar y creces muy rápido) no tuve problemas para el estudio, mi problema era con los profesores, siempre los cuestioné y creo que eso no les agradó a muchos, por eso muchas de mis notas bajas, pero eso no impidió que no avanzara en el sistema educativo.

Desde los 10 hasta los 18 años escribí historias, cuentos y poemas, para esa época tenía mucho que drenar y encontré refugio en las palabras. Pero para mi siempre fue un hobbie y allí lo mantuve, tanto como dibujar, pintar, cantar, tocar guitarra, incluso el instrumento más folclórico de mi país, el cuatro venezolano. (A medida que sigas leyendo verás todas las conexiones entre mis gustos y las oportunidades que me ha dado la vida).

I am a die-hard fan of words, art, and good manners. Each of these words define who I am, they are the pillars of my personality so let's go with the base: words.

I found meaning in words when I had the conscience to ask myself: Who am I? And how do I tell people who they are for me? (The bad thing about growing up with adults is that you don't have enough time to play and you grow up very fast) I didn't have problems to study, my problem was with teachers, I always questioned them and I think that many didn't like that, that's why many of my grades were low, but that didn't stop me from advancing in the educational system.

From the age of 10 to 18 I wrote stories, tales and poems, by that time I had a lot to drain and I found refuge in words. But for me it was always a hobby and I kept it there, as much as drawing, painting, singing, playing guitar, even the most folkloric instrument of my country, the Venezuelan cuatro. Vamos con el arte, divino tesoro, cosa magnífica, nunca me cansaré de alabar todo tipo de arte y como siempre de primero va la música: encontré la paz en ella desde que mi mamá colocaba en una antigua radio su emisora favorita que emitía las canciones más románticas de la época.

Estas canciones me acompañaron todas las noches a conciliar el sueño y una que otra vez a jugar con mi imaginación para entretenerme con las mejores historias, antes que existiera un televisor en casa.

No me considero un fanatico a morir de mis artistas, de nadie en realidad, bueno, probablemente de ciertas personas, pero no son tan famosas. Pero puedo decir que mi base de gusto musical la forman: Nach (especialmente), Ismael Serrano, Leo Dan, AC/DC, Romeo Santos, Queen, Luis Silva y Juan Luis Guerra, una combinación un tanto exótica ¿No lo creen?

Let's go with art, divine treasure, magnificent thing, I will never tire of praising all kinds of art and as always the first is music: I found peace in it since my mother used to put on an old radio her favorite station that broadcast the most romantic songs of the time.

These songs accompanied me every night to fall asleep and once in a while to play with my imagination to entertain me with the best stories, before there was a TV at home.

I don't consider myself a die hard fan of my artists, of no one really, well, probably of certain people, but they are not that famous. But I can say that my musical taste base is formed by: Nach (especially), Ismael Serrano, Leo Dan, AC/DC, Romeo Santos, Queen, Luis Silva and Juan Luis Guerra, a somewhat exotic combination, don't you think?

Aunque no mencioné a Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, Joaquin Sabina, Iron Maiden, Michael Jackson, Rihanna, Camilo Sexto, Simón Diaz, y Luis Miguel, Bruno Mars y muchos más, no quiere decir que no estén en mi playlist, solo no quería hacer esto más largo, pero en ese espectro musical están mis gustos.

A medida que fui creciendo descubrí mis pasiones, entre ellas el diseño y la fotografía, lo que me hizo conocer mucha gente maravillosa, tanto en la música como el caso de Jorge Glem, la pintura, incluso en el marketing… ¿Pero qué tiene que ver el marketing con el arte y lo anterior dicho?

Aquí le damos entrada al diseño, fotografia y arte audiovisual, siempre senti asombro por las peliculas, novelas e historias (Mucho de las pocas cosas de las que soy fanático son por su trama).

¿Quién no creció con las historias de Tarantino, Martin Scorsese, Stanley Kubrick, Alfred Hitchcock, Guillermo del Toro, Chaplin, etc? Las películas de Cantinflas, Beethoven (el San Bernardo) , Los piratas del caribe, en fin, la lista es enorme.

Here we give entrance to design, photography and audiovisual art, I always feel amazed by movies, novels and stories (many of the few things I'm a fan of are because of their plot).

Who didn't grow up with the stories of Tarantino, Martin Scorsese, Stanley Kubrick, Alfred Hitchcock, Guillermo del Toro, Chaplin, etc? The films of Cantinflas, Beethoven (the St. Bernard), Pirates of the Caribbean, in short, the list is enormous.

Nike y adidas peleando por conquistar mercados, gente detrás de las comunicaciones de las grandes marcas, cuidando las palabras con que se comunicaban para poder crecer, Jordan haciendo historia, la Hermana Corita kent, difundiendo pasajes bíblicos en carteles creativos, totalmente radicales para la época, Paul Rant formando las bases visuales que darían inicio a proyecto tan fantásticos como IBM, abc, EF y mucho más, el medio tiempo de la Super Bowl convirtiéndose más importante que el propio partido. Todo esto siendo reforzado en mi trabajo, ¿Donde trabajo en DC Medios la agencia de marketplace de Cumaná, ahí he podido desarrollarme como fotógrafo, diseñador y filmmaker (porque nunca estoy quieto y siempre he querido hacer muchas cosas) en fin, DC Medios tiene la filosofía de querer enseñar, porque así evolucionamos profesionalmente, como persona y equipo, porque unidos llegamos más lejos.

All this being reinforced in my work, where I work at DC Medios the marketplace agency in Cumaná, there I have been able to develop as a photographer, designer and filmmaker (because I'm never still and I've always wanted to do many things) in short, DC Medios has the philosophy of wanting to teach, because this way we evolve professionally, as a person and team, because united we go further.

Cambiando un poco de tema, no saben cuánto me llena ver a alguien feliz, todos lideramos batallas, en una escala distinta y bajo condiciones distintas, por eso ver reír a alguien en esta época es esa brisa de amabilidad que mi Capitán Jack Sparrow anhela (Luego les explico el significado de esto en otra publicación)

Por eso estoy presto a ayudar, además de nacer con una energía infinita llamada terquedad, que me hace un ser incansable, dispuesto a luchar por mis metas, las tuyas y las del vecino (si es un vecino amable claro). La gasolina que me impulsa son mis amigos (una de ellas es Jessica Salinas, directora de DC Medios, probablemente se una pronto a Hive y la conocerán a fondo) y familia, porque son muy pocos pero con una calidad enorme.

En base a estos pilares, mi amor por la tecnología y las buenas costumbres, encontré mi vocación en el marketing y la comunicación, transmitir emociones a través del diseños, videos y textos, encontrar personas que sienta empatía, fidelidad y confianza con tu marca y contigo como persona, porque es lo que somos antes de ser empresas, personas, las cuales sentimos y pensamos de un trillón de formas distintas.

Based on these pillars, my love for technology and good habits, I found my vocation in marketing and communication, transmitting emotions through designs, videos and texts, finding people who feel empathy, loyalty and trust with your brand and with you as a person, because that's what we are before being companies, people, who feel and think in a trillion different ways.

Supe de Hive por un grupo de amigos (@montaine23 y @lucianav) que me hablaron de la plataforma y me encantaría formar parte de Hive, porque me encanta la conexión y no se si todo el mundo sea capaz de ver cómo en esta plataforma se están creando y uniendo mundo.

Dándote la libertad de decir lo que piensas, de ver dentro de ti y decirnos quien eres, de contarnos qué te parece el mundo y darnos tu versión, me parece que #Hive está evolucionando más allá del mundo de las criptomonedas, está desarrollando personas, enseñándoles a interactuar, a crecer como comunidad y siento que es algo que se puede llevar al mundo exterior como buenas costumbres.

I heard about Hive from a group of friends (@montaine23 and @lucianav) who told me about the platform and I would love to be part of Hive, because I love the connection and I don't know if everyone is able to see how this platform is creating and uniting the world.

Giving you the freedom to speak your mind, to look inside yourself and tell us who you are, to tell us how you feel about the world and give us your version, I feel like #Hive is evolving beyond the cryptocurrency world, it's developing people, teaching them to interact, to grow as a community and I feel like that's something that can be taken to the outside world as good habits.
