Hay meses buenos y meses malos, son cosas normales en la vida. Particularmente Julio fue un muy mal mes para mis lecturas, no sé qué paso, ni siquiera sentí un bloqueo lector como tal, pero simplemente no pude leer casi nada y eso es extraño. Teniendo en cuenta que el mes lo comencé muy bien, me leí una trilogía que amé en cuestión de 2 días, pero la verdad es que no pude leer más de 5 libros, es la segunda vez que pasa en este año. Pero aun así les quería traer este pequeño Wrap Up del mes.

There are good months and bad months, these are normal things in life. Particularly July was a very bad month for my reading, I don't know what happened, I didn't even feel a reading block as such, but I just couldn't read almost anything and that's strange. Considering that I started the month very well, I read a trilogy that I loved in a matter of 2 days, but the truth is that I couldn't read more than 5 books, it's the second time that happens this year. But I still wanted to bring you this little Wrap Up of the month.

Comenzamos este mes con una lectura bien cuestionable. Mi primera lectura fue un romance oscuro de la autora Penélope Douglas llamado Creedence y narra la historia de una chica llamada Tiernan cuyos padres se suicidaron y ella queda totalmente sola, pero, como es menor de edad la custodia de queda a manos un tío muy lejano de ella que ni siquiera conocía y de hecho ni siquiera son familia de sangre. Como les mencioné este es un romance oscuro y la pareja que ella decide quedarse es algo que todavía estoy asimilando, pero me gustó, no le daría cinco estrellas porque me perturbó en ciertas partes, pero es buena Penelope Douglas es una muy buena escritora de Dark Romance, así que fue un buen libro para empezar el mes.

Después me estuve leyendo unos libros de fantasía, una trilogía llamada el reino de los malditos , que combinan historias de brujas, demonios, príncipes del infierno y romance, un poco al estilo Enemies to Lovers pero bastante sutil. La verdad esta trilogía me encantó demasiado y de hecho no les quiero contar mucho por qué lo voy a detallar más en las reseñas que haga, pero todos estos libros me gustaron muchísimo y a todos les di cinco estrellas. Y al igual que comenzamos el mes, también lo terminamos con una lectura cuestionable. Otro Dark Romance llamado "Padre: perdóneme porque he pecado" de Sierra Simone. Esta historia es más que todo una relación prohibida entre un sacerdote y una ex stripper. Yo le di tres estrellas porque no es un mal libro, está muy bien estructurado, pero tampoco es una historia que te va a cambiar la vida. Además, yo no soy una persona religiosa y en varias cosas no sentí conexión porque si nombra bastantes temas de ese estilo.

We started this month with a very questionable read. My first read was a dark romance by author Penelope Douglas called Creedence and it tells the story of a girl named Tiernan whose parents committed suicide and she is left all alone, but, as she is a minor the custody of her is left to a very distant uncle that she didn't even know and in fact they are not even blood related. As I mentioned this is a dark romance and the couple she decides to keep is something I'm still coming to terms with, but I liked it, I wouldn't give it five stars because it disturbed me in certain parts, but it's good Penelope Douglas is a very good Dark Romance writer, so it was a good book to start the month with.

Then I was reading some fantasy books, a trilogy called the realm of the damned , which combine stories of witches, demons, princes of hell and romance, a bit in the style of Enemies to Lovers but quite subtle. I really loved this trilogy and in fact I don't want to tell you much about it because I'm going to detail it more in my reviews, but I really liked all these books and I gave them all five stars. And just as we started the month, we also ended it with a questionable read. Another Dark Romance called "Father: forgive me for I have sinned" by Sierra Simone. This story is mostly a forbidden relationship between a priest and a former stripper. I gave it three stars because it's not a bad book, it's very well structured, but it's also not a story that's going to change your life. Also, I'm not a religious person and in several things I didn't feel a connection because it does name quite a few themes of that style.

Yo la verdad estoy muy decepcionada de mí porque no leí mucho este mes. Yo tengo una habilidad y un buen ojo para escoger libros casi siempre los libros que yo escojo leer me gusta mucho así que a pesar de haber leído solo cinco libros este mes fueron libros que me gustaron bastante Fueron cinco estrellas, uno fue cuatro estrellas y otro fue tres estrellas así que la verdad son buenas puntuaciones y clínicamente es un buen mes de calidad de los Libros. Aun así, siento que tengo un bloqueo pequeño porque hay varias historias que comencé, pero no pude terminar, por ejemplo: Reckless lo dejé al 67% de lectura, Crimson Moth que dejé al 20% de lectura, Lightlark que dejé solo al 2% de lectura y también Fuego y Sangre de George R.R Martin que dejé también al 2% de lectura. Este mes acaba de comenzar y acabo de terminar un libro, así que espero que sea un mejor mes que la anterior y también espero terminar con los que les acabo de mencionar que medio abandoné el mes anterior, yo no soy de abandonar libros, así que los termino de un momento a otro, nos leemos pronto!

I'm really disappointed in myself because I didn't read much this month. I have a knack and a good eye for picking books and I almost always like the books that I choose to read so even though I only read five books this month they were books that I liked a lot. They were five stars, one was four stars and one was three stars so they are really good ratings and clinically it is a good month for quality of books. Still, I feel like I have a bit of a block because there are several stories that I started, but couldn't finish, for example: Reckless which I left at 67% read, Crimson Moth which I left at 20% read, Lightlark which I left at only 2% read and also Fire and Blood by George R.R Martin which I left also at 2% read. This month has just started and I just finished a book, so I hope it will be a better month than the previous one and I also hope to finish with the ones I just mentioned that I half abandoned last month, I am not one to abandon books, so I will finish them at any moment, see you soon.
