A lo largo de mi vida en Hive he realizado tantos maquillajes, que hay ocasiones donde no sé por donde empezar, especialmente en días donde mi mood no ha estado al 100. Hoy Quiero contarles que tuve un momento intenso cuando termine mi maquillaje, en el proceso me sentí bien, sentí que lo estaba logrando, pero luego de las fotos y todo tuve un momento fuerte. Creo que fue porque me exigí mucho a mí misma, sentí que me presioné demasiado para este reto que olvidé dejarme llevar, es por ello que ahora, al momento de contarles el porqué de mi maquillaje, sí me dejaré llevar por mis sentimientos. Así que, comencemos.

Throughout my life at Hive I have done so many makeovers, that there are times when I don't know where to start, especially on days when my mood has not been at 100. Today I want to tell you that I had an intense moment when I finished my makeup, in the process I felt good, I felt I was making it, but after the pictures and everything I had a strong moment. I think it was because I demanded too much from myself, I felt that I put too much pressure on myself for this challenge that I forgot to let myself go, that's why now, when I tell you why I did my makeup, I will let myself go with my feelings. So, let's get started.

Recursos naturales, vaya que si tenemos de donde escoger, pero antes de ello una breve introducción. Al momento de pensar en la palabra Natural, mi mente claramente se ubica en un lugar, un pueblo llamado Caripe. En este pueblo he pasado casi la mitad de mi vida, entre viajes largos y cortos. ¿Pero, que tiene de especial? ¿Por qué pienso en el cuando me nombran la palabra Naturaleza? Porque sencillamente, Caripe es la definición de Naturaleza y vida para mí, tiene paisajes hermosos, bosques, montañas, ríos, flores de todos los colores y tamaños. Y como ya sabemos, en la naturaleza hay vida, pero más importante, en ese lugar para mí hay Vida Humana llamada Familia.

Natural resources, we do have a lot to choose from, but before that, a brief introduction. When I think about the word Natural, my mind clearly goes to a place, a town called Caripe. In this town I have spent almost half of my life, between long and short trips, but what is so special about it? Why do I think of it when I think of the word Nature? Because simply, Caripe is the definition of Nature and life for me, it has beautiful landscapes, forests, mountains, rivers, flowers of all colors and sizes. And as we already know, in nature there is life, but more importantly, in that place for me there is Human Life called Family.

No les voy a mentir, no les diré que mi primera opción siempre fue representar los bosques, realmente eran los minerales, pero a veces en nuestra mente pensamos en una cosa y con nuestras manos hacemos otras. Entonces decidí ir por lo que mi corazón decía, me acosté y pensé en algo natural, así fue como ese lugar vino a mi mente, pensé en lo feliz que soy en ese ambiente, en contacto con la naturaleza, con la flora y fauna del oriente de mi país, con los árboles gigantes, con el mini bosque que hay detrás de nuestra casa. Esa fue mi inspiración para poder lograr este look, pero les detallaré más.

I'm not going to lie to you, I won't tell you that my first choice was always to represent the forests, it was really the minerals, but sometimes in our mind we think of one thing and with our hands we do others. Then I decided to go for what my heart said, I went to bed and thought of something natural, that's how that place came to my mind, I thought of how happy I am in that environment, in contact with nature, with the flora and fauna of the east of my country, with the giant trees, with the mini forest behind our house. That was my inspiration to achieve this look, but I'll tell you more.

¿Qué lleva mi maquillaje? ¿Qué representa? Realmente, hay mucho verde y eso que no es mi color favorito jaja. Este artístico lleva en mi frente un bosque el cual fue mi parte favorita de todo el maquillaje, junto con el look de ojos, bastante pequeño, pero cada árbol cuenta cuando de generar recursos se trata. En mis ojos hay una combinación de verdes, debido a la sub tonalidad que podemos encontrar cuando nos adentramos a los cerros a explorar, en una técnica bastante gráfica, que se aprecia en las fotos más de cerca.

What's in my makeup? What does it represent? Actually, there is a lot of green and it's not my favorite color haha. This artistic one has a forest on my forehead which was my favorite part of the whole makeup, along with the eye look, quite small, but every tree counts when it comes to generating resources. In my eyes there is a combination of greens, due to the sub tonality that we can find when we go into the hills to explore, in a very graphic technique, which can be seen in the photos more closely.

En una esquina exterior de mi párpado, una flor rosada, en honor a mi color favorito y la belleza de las flores. Y creciendo desde mi pecho, suelo, raíces, tronco y hojas, componentes ideales con los cuales podemos hacer nueva vida. Tristemente, el suelo es un recurso natural no renovable, por lo que lo deterioramos muchísimo, es por ello que no quise tener tonos uniformes y hay más oscuros que otros, demostrando la degradación. En un intento de poses dramáticas quise representar lo que a veces sufre la naturaleza, cuando no la cuidamos ni respetamos. No sé si me salieron bien, pero yo realmente creo que sí, tal vez no sean mis mejores ángulos, pero me gusta el resultado, fueron muy espontáneas.

On an outer corner of my eyelid, a pink flower, in honor of my favorite color and the beauty of flowers. And growing from my chest, soil, roots, trunk and leaves, ideal components from which we can make new life. Sadly, soil is a non-renewable natural resource, so we deteriorate it a lot, that's why I didn't want to have uniform tones and there are darker than others, showing the degradation. In an attempt of dramatic poses I wanted to represent what nature sometimes suffers, when we don't take care of it or respect it. I don't know if they came out well, but I really think so, maybe they are not my best angles, but I like the result, they were very spontaneous.
