Después de ver Suits tuve una pausa para poder ver otra serie, ya que volví a leer intensamente, pero después de caer en cuenta de que tenía muchas horas libres en mi hogar, decidí empezar una nueva serie. Gossip Girl es una serie que me han recomendado demasiadas veces, pero no era mi intención inicial verla en esta oportunidad, hasta que apareció en mi feed de Netflix e inmediatamente decidí darle una oportunidad.

After watching Suits I had a break from watching another series, as I went back to reading intensely, but after realizing that I had a lot of free hours at home, I decided to start a new series. Gossip Girl is a series that has been recommended to me too many times, but it wasn't my initial intention to watch it this time around, until it popped up in my Netflix feed and I immediately decided to give it a chance.

Gossip Girl es una de esas series muy icónicas, que narra la vida de un grupo de adolescentes millonarios de New York, en Manhattan. Debo mencionar que actualmente estoy viendo la 4ta temporada de esta serie, así que ya he visto muchísimo drama y debo decir que me gusta bastante. En algunos videos pude ver que la protagonista en sí es Serena Van Der Woodsen, quien en el primer episodio regresa a la ciudad después de estar en un internado, todo esto narrado por Gossip Girl. En la primera temporada pudimos ver la guerrita entre Serena y Blair Waldorf, La amistad entre Nate Archibald y Chuck Bass, y también la integración de Dan y Jenny Humphrey. El amor naciente entre Serena y Dan, la crisis amorosa de Blair y Nate, las maldades de Chuck y el inicio de las acciones de Jenny por pertenecer.

Gossip Girl is one of those very iconic series, chronicling the lives of a group of teenage millionaires in New York, Manhattan. I should mention that I am currently watching the 4th season of this series, so I have already seen a lot of drama and I must say that I like it a lot. In some videos I could see that the main character herself is Serena Van Der Woodsen, who in the first episode returns to the city after being in a boarding school, all this narrated by Gossip Girl. In the first season we could see the little war between Serena and Blair Waldorf, The friendship between Nate Archibald and Chuck Bass, and also the integration of Dan and Jenny Humphrey. The budding love between Serena and Dan, Blair and Nate's love crisis, Chuck's nastiness and the beginning of Jenny's actions to belong.

Ya en las siguientes temporadas vemos cómo las cosas van cambiando, cómo se meten todos contra todos y también cómo va naciendo una de mis parejas favoritas, Chuck y Blair. Además de que los dramas y los chismes contados por Gossip Girl hacen que todo sea más divertido. Las acciones de Jenny se vuelven más turbias, todos los personajes, incluido Eric hacen cosas cuestionables para poder lograr sus propósitos. Lily y Rufus viven de peleas y peleas, aunque el amor siempre triunfa. Los "enemigos", rivales y amores pasajeros también hacen que la serie sea bastante interesante y que haya competencia entre algunos amores, ya que aparentemente no existe ninguna relación estable y todos los personajes son bastante cuestionables.

Already in the following seasons we see how things are changing, how they are all against all and also how one of my favorite couples, Chuck and Blair, is being born. Besides that the dramas and gossip told by Gossip Girl make everything funnier. Jenny's actions become more shady, all the characters, including Eric do questionable things in order to achieve their purposes. Lily and Rufus live for fights and fights, although love always triumphs. The "enemies", rivals and passing loves also make the series quite interesting and there is competition between some loves, as apparently there is no stable relationship and all the characters are quite questionable.
