At Christmas I got a gift that I loved very much, which my mom gave me and it was a curling iron. I always wanted to have one of these but I concentrated on getting a hair straightener first, then with time I started using creams to take care of my hair and when it got better I got some natural waves that are pretty good for everyday life. Therefore my desire to buy a curling iron diminished a little, although I was still willing to buy one, but I got it as a gift and that was much better haha. This curling iron is from a brand called ConAir, it is made of Ceramic and has a super nice white color with RoseGold, it heats up a lot and has several temperatures to handle the hair, plus it is very comfortable to hold in your hand.

First I brushed my hair and applied some heat protectant cream, I understand that this is applied to protect the hair obviously and also to give the waves a little more body. Then I took thin strands, rolled them in the curling iron so that they were straight but still twirled, waited about 20 minutes and then removed them from the curling iron. When I released the hair I grabbed it with my hand so that the lock would cool but not sweat, and then continue repeating the process throughout my hair, but without touching the root because I wanted a style of straight with curly. At the end I applied an extreme hold hairspray all over my hair to make it last longer.

I'm still not sure which is the best way to do the waves or curls, because I'm still experimenting with it but I hope that after doing this post it will get better. They say that the best way to make the waves stay longer in the hair is to do them when it is a little "dirty", that is to say that it has natural grease so they can have a good definition, I have several days that I wash my hair so it is an ideal time. Here in this section of photos I had already done much of my hair with the waves and I think I have the hang of it to defend myself.

I've always been a fan of straight hair, I definitely love it, but the wavy style is something I've been experimenting with since last year and I like it for some occasions. I usually do cold waves, which are a very natural style where no heat is needed, but it does take a long time for them to be defined and last for several days. These waves took me about 40 minutes to do and I have quite long hair. They turned out pretty good for my first time, but they only lasted three hours, I need to figure out how to make them last longer. If I'm honest I had this idea for 5 months and now I'm doing it hahahahahaha I hope you loved this tutorial, see you soon!
