¿Como te vistes para ir al trabajo? ¿Eres de las que se arregla o de las que escoge lo primero que ve? La mayoría del tiempo yo me arreglo, forma parte de mi estilo de vida, pero hay ocasiones en donde no tengo ganas de existir y agarro lo primero que encuentro, afortunadamente termino en un estilo muy básico. Y aunque no tiene nada de malo, en ocasiones cuando me veo en el espejo, inmediatamente pienso “¿en serio vas a ir así?” Y aunque en mi trabajo no necesariamente la apariencia es lo que cuenta, ni trabajo en el sector moda, me gusta estar arreglada para mi ya que con eso me siento muy bien. Hoy fue uno de esos días en donde no sabia que ponerme, así que tome prendas básicas, un jean, una camisa negra y unos zapatos deportivos, cuando me vi en el espejo dije: ok no esta mal, pero vamos a mejorarlo y documentar el proceso.

How do you dress for work? Are you one of those who dresses up or one of those who chooses the first thing she sees? And although there is nothing wrong with that, sometimes when I see myself in the mirror, I immediately think "are you really going like that?" And although in my job it's not necessarily the appearance that counts, nor do I work in the fashion industry, I like to be dressed up for me because I feel very good with that. Today was one of those days where I didn't know what to wear, so I took some basic clothes, a jean, a black shirt and some sport shoes, when I saw myself in the mirror I said: ok not bad, but let's improve it and document the process.

Ya tenía mi everyday makeup listo, así que pase a un paso importante. Los accesorios son esas cosas que siempre van a potenciar nuestro look, si los sabemos utilizar muy bien, me ha pasado que veo la diferencia en segundos. En esta ocasión me decidí por unas argollas doradas que compré recientemente a una amiga en el trabajo, también me coloque un earcuff que tenía mucho tiempo sin usar y me sentí mas completa. Luego pase a los collares, pensaba usar 2 pero como tragedia mañanera, uno se me rompió y decidí arreglarlo luego, así que tomé mi collar de balines, que es super practico y pase a colocarme anillos, solo 2, los cuales complementé con una pulsera de ojos turcos rojos.

This time I decided to go for some golden earrings that I recently bought from a friend at work, I also put on an earcuff that I hadn't worn for a long time and I felt more complete. Then I moved on to the necklaces, I was going to wear 2 but as a morning tragedy, one broke and I decided to fix it later, so I took my ballin necklace, which is super practical and went on to put on rings, only 2, which I complemented with a red Turkish eyes bracelet.

Y después de todo, el look estaba tomando forma, pero necesitaba algo más. Recordé mi chaqueta negra que tanto mi gusta y cuando me la coloque, todo tuvo sentido en esta vida; esta chaqueta negra es de un material estilo jean, de la marca Fashion Nova, la cual desde que compre no me ha fallado, es super cómoda y muy versátil. Pensé mucho si llevármela al trabajo o no, porque parecía too much, pero la verdad para algo me la compré, así que a darle uso más seguido porque es bellísima.

I remembered my black jacket that I like so much and when I put it on, everything made sense in this life; this black jacket is a jean style material, from Fashion Nova, which since I bought it has not failed me, it is super comfortable and very versatile. I thought a lot whether to wear it to work or not, because it seemed too much, but the truth is that I bought it for a reason, so I'm going to wear it more often because it's beautiful.
