We have seen numerous blogs on engagement, but when it comes to implementing effective ways to encourage engagement, we often fall short, and I have observed this in most cases. But here I want to give an example of myself because I am trying these two ways to encourage the users of Hive so that they can participate more in this initiative. The purpose of making this post is to inspire the users to engage more and authors to implement these smart ways in their posts.
Utilization of Peakd Tip Feature
@peakd Tip feature is not just for rewarding the authors who create content, but also for the users who prioritize engagement, because I believe engagement is more important than the content. Minimum tip requirement is just 0.11 $HIVE, and you can start with this. I am not saying that you need to spend all the hive for all the comments on the hive community, but you can pick the best comments to reward them, or else the best way is to reward comments that come on your posts. I am also doing the same, and here you can check the example.
So, what I am doing to encourage engagement on Hive is just upvote that comment, tip 0.11 to the comment, and reply to it. I think this is a great way to encourage engagement on Hive. What say?
Comment Rewarder For Advanced Approach
In the image below, you can see I have set 3% beneficiary to commentrewarder. Usually, I set 3% to 5%.
@commentrewarder is doing an excellent job by providing this feature. You can set 3% to 100% beneficiary to @commentrewarder, and then when you vote on the comment in your posts, the comment owner will receive a portion of the total reward, and it depends on your vote percentage on the comment, the total reward of your post, and what percentage you set for the beneficiary. So this is an advanced feature that you should try to contribute to the hive economy. This is another way to reward those who engage in your post.
Avoid AI generated and Spammy comments
I think you only need to reward the comment that is relevant to your post topic. Low-quality comments should be avoided. Now, let's understand what a low-quality comment is. So the comments like "nice post", "you are doing good", "solid read", "excellent information", and there are more such examples that you can guess by yourself.
Reality is such comment owners are not reading your post and comments directly, and they have nothing to do with your topic that you shared in the post. Such comments are not valuable. Comments should be relevant to your topic, even if it short. A short comment is not a low-quality comment, but what really matters is relevance to your content.

the gift and comment rewarding is encourage people to do more engagement with the reward as return, just don't spammed them wit the sh*t comment right ? Because whenever there is reward, there comes abuser
I agree with you, and, indeed, it can also encourage reward abusers. I have seen some commentators use AI comments to earn rewards. But it is in our hands who to give a reward, so we can do a cross-check to solve this issue.
