Do you want to increase deck strength in cheap? then you have two options one is renting cards and another option is finding cheap and best cards from the market and leveling up them. Both options are good as your preference but we are going to talk about the second one. You are forced to collect soulbond cards but it is good for you if you wanna increase the deck strength.
Since the card price is low you have a good chance to do this to rank higher in the ranked battles. Nowadays, you also need SPS stake to earn more and there is an opportunity to earn more than before if you have more SPS in staking. Here I am going to share some information regarding the cheap way to increase deck strength.
Old Cards Upgrading Is Expensive
As the cards get old, their prices increase. Why because it is the game of supply and demand and you know splinterlands cards are limited. That's the reason leveling up old cards is an expensive deal. Getting exactly the same card is difficult but you can find a little similar or alternative. Even though the market is down but old cards are still expensive. You can check my collection, I have some beta edition cards and they are more expensive than the latest cards.
The beta version is the old version of cards in the splinterlands. I have purchased a summoner whose name is Alric Stormbringer and its value was around $1 now its price is $11. So if you hold splinterlands NFT for long, you are going to get a decent benefit from it. Additionally, you can earn crypto by using those NFTs. So you are getting multiple benefits by holding these NFTs.
Utilizing Newly Launched Cards
We can add Chaos Legion and Soulbond rewards cards in the new category and also riftwatcher cards come under the Chaos Legion edition. Now I have already talked about soulbond cards in my previous hive blogs. But again I want to remind you. So choose different ability cards and level up them for more power.
The best tip for soulbound monsters is not to set a limit and whatever you get in reward, level up them all. So this way you can reach a higher level in summoners as well as in monsters. The big benefit is you will get multiple abilities in the monsters which will be very helpful to win battles even in the difficult ruled battles.

It is true that soulbond summoners have higher mana cap but the abilities are good. One ability is common in all monsters and that is conscript. The conscript ability allows you to use one gladiator card in any battle. By using this ability you can use one powerful gladiator monster, any heavy attack monster with bloodlust ability will be a good choice. So this is the unique and the best feature that soulbound summoners have. You will not find this ability in other summoners.
As well as these summoner has -2 armor, -1 health, -1 speed, +1 armor, +1 health, and +1 speed abilities. So gather and level up them to increase your deck strength. These summoners are eternan brune, pembrook nymph, lobb lowland, franz ruffmane, octavia shadowmeld and helios matriarch. Also add some tank heal, sneak, poison and double-strike monsters must from the chaos legion. And this is how you can build a cheap deck to battle in Splinterlands.
