First of all, read the splinterlands latest announcement post regarding SPS staking multiplier for ranked battle reward because I know that this is going to excite you. So finally collection power is going to remove tomorrow. And this update was much needed. This is not exactly like collection power but there is a multiplier system which means even if you have no sps and enough cards, you can go to the upper leagues.

The collection power requirement was a good update and people bought lots of cards because of this. They also got higher rewards based on collection power. This is excellent for those who holding sps amount already but if you don't have enough sps tokens then this is a better chance for you because the price is still $0.018 and may it will increase after the update. Although I am not sure about that, there is a possibility.

My SPS Building Plan After This Update

Currently, I don't have any specific plan but adding daily staking APR, Ranked battle income, and SPS node validator license income to the staking. I am not going to buy additional sps because I already bought them in the last dip. I am planning to add more sps tokens so that I can give extra sps amount on rent and this can be a good way to earn passive income.

The current APR is 17.89% as well if we combine the GLX airdrop then it will be 22% which is not bad. And there are 128 days remaining for the airdrop end.

How Does Multiplier Work?

You can see the above chart It starts from 2x to 12x and your staked sps will determine how much you will get. Let's say currently I am playing in Gold || league and I have 115k staked sps tokens. In this case, I will get 12x earnings. There is no staking requirement for the bronze ||| users to earn more. For the champion | users 1271901 sps staking required for 12x rewards.

Even if you are not able to stake more sps you will still get rewards but as I said you must have to stake more sps for higher earnings. So here I can say that one more valid reason to stake more sps. Some people say that this is suddenly announced to increase the value of sps price but it does not because this is already mentioned in the splinterlands roadmap.

Upcoming changes With SPS Delegation & Rental Market

The good news is people who don't have enough money to buy and want to participate in 12x multipliers then they can do this by using the staked sps rental market. Well, it is only available for 7 days and if you are a delegator then you have to cancel it manually after 7 days otherwise it will not be canceled. They leave it on third-party platforms so if any third party wants to provide automation service then they can go for it.

It is similar to dlease. Recently I have taken 22k hp from one user and he has not canceled it even after the expiration of 4 week's contract. So overall I got additional 28 days of HP delegation without paying any fees. But I think this is not going to happen in staked sps rental market case because there are multiple third parties already providing card rental service so maybe they will add staked sps rental market with automation.

This market will also provide to invest and earn opportunity for the people who want to buy the sps and give them on rent. People who don't want to play games can take the benefits in this way. This is good for the sps token price and in a way, it is one more use case that is added. You can say one more way to earn passive income by staked sps tokens. Ya APR will reduce but check the other side of the coin.
