This is not a token so you cannot see it in the hive-engine It has a fixed value for example if you want to buy a gladiator pack then you have to pay 2000 merits and you will get one gladiator pack. for that, you need a guild and an upgraded store when you have these two things you are ready to convert your merits and get monsters. You can compare it to credit because it has a fixed price too only vouchers, DEC and SPS are tradable tokens in the splinterlands economy and you will see price fluctuation in these tokens, unlike credit and merits.

It is good that users get a good amount of merits from the battle rewards as well as from the brawl rewards. I can see that some members are not even part of the Guild so I suggest them to be a part of the Guild and earn merits and spend the merits because without the guild you cannot spend your merits so it is necessary to participate in the guild I have also won guild and if you want can do a comment below I will add you in my guild because I need some members. If you’re planning to create your guild then make sure that you have good levels in your guild otherwise it is not worth investing here because at least two levels of store are needed to access the store.

when merits were introduced for the rewards many users were against this change because they did not want it because merits are not tradable on exchange but after its proper implementation users got used to it and now you can see that everyone likes merits they are spending merits to get the gladiator monsters which is a good thing. When change comes we have to wait for it before criticizing it because without using it we cannot understand the actual impact of that particular change and merits is a good example of that thing. Sp merits are very useful to spend for gladiators. Gladiator Monsters are powerful monsters in the spinterlands I personally like them and many people use these monsters you can see it has a special place in the new edition reward summoners and there is permission to use one gladiator monster also there is a special ruleset in which you can use rebellion monster. So I think this is a good utility this is needed.

As I said merits are not tradable on the hive-engine but it has a better use case and I have told everything in detail above. Even though this is not tradable it has good utility so we have reason to collect your merits and use them for the gladiator monster Gladiator Monsters are unique and powerful and most users like gladiator monsters.
