My next President , My Role Model

Seeing the question "Who is your role model ?", I immediately discovered that I really do not have a role model and have never even thought of having one. Although humans aren't perfect and it's really difficult to find one man who would possess all the qualities one admires. because of this post, I have chosen to adopt someone who I think has a lot qualities I admire and who I think is best fit as my role model.

Firstly. What is a role Model ?

According to Collins dictionary

A role Model is someone you admire and try to imitate source

With that being said, I would like to say my role model is a man called Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra state in Nigeria.

Peter Obi is a business man and like I earlier said was the governor of Anambra state in Nigeria. He is currently running for the office of president of Nigeria and because of his impeccable character and records has gained widespread acceptance and endorsement by the people of Nigeria, especially the youths.

Some of the characters and qualities which he possess that I admire are ;

Humility : Mr Peter Obi is known to be very humble despite the fact that he is wealthy and very learned . Even as a former governor, his humility and modesty could be seen in the way he acted and in the way he managed government finance and money prudently.

Compassionate : He is also very compassionate and infact he is a philanthropist. He has made a lot of donations to the Nigerian people and as a governor he empathised with the poor and common people of the land made policies to favour them.

intelligent: Having attended the best universities in the world like Oxford, Cambridge , havard etc. Gov. Peter Obi is really intelligent. His intelligence can be seen or observed in the way he managed his state while in office, the policies he put in place and the development they had had because of it.

Integrity : Mr Peter Obi is an epitome of integrity and because of this,
he is loved by many people in Nigeria. His character of integrity is seen in his transparent lifestyle and his government while he was in office. He keeps his word . He has a good record and has a legacy of goodness.

Values : One of the reasons why I adopted Mr Peter Obi as my role model is because of his personal values. His values of honesty, integrity, modesty, compassion etc align with mine and I think they're important and critical for love and growth to abound in any clime.

Although I'm a Christian and my ultimate role model is my Lord Jesus Christ, Peter Obi is a man of character and is one to be emulated amongst men.
