WHY I CHOOSE THE BUSTLING CITY OVER THE CALM RURAL AREAS

I live in the city and have lived there for most of my life. I have also had the opportunity to pay short visits to some rural areas like my hometown mostly during festive seasons like Christmas and Easter, and I find those places warm, exciting and fun.

Although I've always had premium satisfaction and comfort every time I've visited those rural areas, I wouldn't say I'd prefer to live there permanently.

Those places are cool, calm, have wonderful views, vegetal areas, are soothing, relaxing and are bereft of the haphazardness of the big bustling cities, but then they lack a lot of very key infrastructures that makes makes life easy in this modern times.

There are a lot of disadvantages that comes with living in the city but because the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, I think it's rational to choose the Urban areas over the rural areas

Here are my dislikes of the Urban cities.

Urban areas are always overcrowded and bustling ;
This is very typical of urban areas. They're always overcrowded, bustling and sometimes noisy. They're often times bereft of the tranquil nature of the Urban areas. I like calm places but calmness is something that you hardly get in these big cities

Urban areas are also crime and criminal hubs : This is another sad thing that is also peculiar to urban areas. Although they are the headquarters of all the security agencies, more crimes takes place in the Urban areas.

Urban Areas Lack Natural Vegetations ; Because of how very much populated and how industrial these places have become, most of the lands have been used for construction of one infrastructure or the other and because of that, these cities have been rid of the beautiful touches of mother nature. You hardly find a Vegetations and wild life in Urban Areas.

Rural areas on the other hand still have these features but are lacking in so many Areas.

So why do I still prefer the Urban areas ?, here are the reasons ;

Better Internet Connection :
Yea! the internet. It's so important to me because most of the things I do are with the internet. From communication, to work, to purchases, education , information etc. The internet has become a huge part of my life and life without it wouldn't be so easy.

More Job opportunities and connections ;
The cities are where the big industries and companies are sited. Basically everything happens in the cities. The government headquarters are in the cities, headquarters of big firms are also cited in the cities. The cities are where the elites live and where things really happen and because of this, there are more Job opportunities in the cities plus you also get the chance to meet big and prominent people and also make connections that will improve your business.

Access to Utilities ;
In the cities, there is an easy access to Utilities like gas, good water, transportation system etc and not just an easy access, there are multiple providers and you get the chance to chose from a variety of options.

Infrastructure ;
The cities are much more developed and have modern infrastructures. In the cities you there are better transportation facilities, better road networks, a lot of fun places like parks, malls etc.

Yes, I do love to visit the rural areas but I really don't think I'd prefer staying there permanently. Although I do not own my own house for now, whenever I'd do so, it definitely will be in the city.
