Tea mushroom (kombucha)
I really want to exhibit photos of mushrooms, but since there are none, I will show you a photo of my kombucha.
Maybe for some it will be usual, or maybe someone will see and learn about him for the first time.
Previously, kombucha in Russia was grown and drunk in almost every family. And we had it too. My grandmother was engaged in it, then she still lived with us.
My grandmother gave me this kombucha every day.
She gave me only 100 ml. and since I liked him, I asked for more, but my grandmother did not give me and explained this by the fact that the children can no longer drink.

I grew up, I got my own family. And remembering my childhood, I wanted to have this mushroom. But the trouble is, it is very difficult to get it now. And given that I live in Cyprus, they have no idea what it is.
And finally, a friend gave me a small piece of kombucha and I began to grow it. Now he grew up and gave a "baby"
The fungus builds up layers.
I will not write about the usefulness of kombucha, whoever is interested in it can find information about it on the Internet.
I will write about how I look after him.
For this you will need:
1 2 liter glass jar
1 three-liter glass jar
2 liters of water
1 tablespoon loose leaf tea (not packaged)
4 tablespoons full of sugar
Boil 2 liters of water.
Pour 4 tablespoons of sugar into a 2 liter glass jar. If you want a sweeter one, you can add more.
Then put a tea strainer on this jar and pour boiling water into the strainer.
Do not remove the strainer.
When the tea has cooled, remove the tea strainer and pour the infusion into a three-liter glass jar and carefully put the kombucha in it.
Close the neck of the jar with gauze folded in 2 layers and secure it with an elastic band.
Kombucha must breathe !!! Otherwise he will die !!!
The jar with the mushroom should stand in a bright place, but not in the sun!
You can drink it by gently draining it from the jar after 4-6 days. It depends on the room temperature.
You can drink it at room temperature or put the cast tea in the refrigerator. But then it will be less carbonated.
