Almuerzo junto a amigos especiales (Esp/Eng)

Hola queridos amigos, bienvenidos una vez más a mi blog; en este día les hablare de lo que fue mi tarde de ayer jueves, y es que unas queridas amigas (madre e hija) tuvieron la amabilidad de preparar un almuerzo e invitar a las personas mas allegadas a ellas y entre esos estábamos mi familia y yo.

Yo soy feliz siempre que ella me invita a almorzar, ya que es chef de profesión y realmente todo le queda delicioso, así que, aunque no me crean conté los días ansiosa… El plato estrella seria un sabroso mondongo, para los que no saben es como una sopa o hervido, realmente no se de donde proviene este plato, pero lo que si se es que lleva bastante trabajo para la limpieza de los ingredientes y dicen por allí que no todo mundo sabe prepararlo; pero yo conociendo a mi amiga lorena hasta con los ojos cerrados pruebo lo que sea que haga jaja. Este plato se acompaña (aquí en Venezuela) con arepa ya sea frita o asada, con un picadillo y limón.

The star dish would be a tasty mondongo, for those who do not know is like a soup or boiled, I really do not know where this dish comes from, but what I do know is that it takes a lot of work to clean the ingredients and they say that not everyone knows how to prepare it; but knowing my friend Lorena even with my eyes closed I try whatever she does haha. This dish is accompanied (here in Venezuela) with arepa either fried or grilled, with a picadillo and lemon.

Y bueno disculpen mi rostro, la temperatura estaba tenaz, pero aquí lo que importa es mi experiencia jajaja… Al momento de comer juntamos varias mesas para poder comer todos al mismo tiempo, y yo no sé ustedes pero aquí en Venezuela tenemos la mala costumbre que cuando estamos reunidos comiendo junto a amistades, siempre sale un tema de conversación aunque estemos comiendo (claro con esas personas que tenias tiempo sin ver), así que mientras la comida se enfriaba hablamos de mil cosas a la vez y fue algo gracioso porque alguien hizo el comentario que si hablábamos mientras comíamos nos llenaríamos de aire y eso produciría gases y también tendríamos la sensación de llenura; el caso es que nos agarramos de allí todos y comenzamos a bromear sobre desconociendo si es cierto o no y para mi sorpresa me faltaba por terminar el plato y ya estaba llena.

Entonces me quede esperando que me bajara la llenura además que me dio mucha somnolencia, quizá por el calor… y no paso ni una hora del almuerzo y también nos tenían preparado un postre, y es que por cierto es mi postre favorito, un quesillo venezolano; y lo mas triste que solo pude probarlo realmente no me cabía nada mas de comida, así que preferí guardarlo para el día siguiente y que a propósito hoy al preparar mi almuerzo para venir al trabajo, me percate que alguien hurto mi porción, así que ni modo no pude disfrutarlo como pensaba.

And well, excuse my face, the temperature was tenacious, but what matters here is my experience hahaha.... At the time of eating we gathered several tables to be able to eat all at the same time, and I don't know about you but here in Venezuela we have the bad habit that when we are together eating with friends, there is always a topic of conversation even if we are eating (of course with those people you had time without seeing), so while the food was cooling we talked about a thousand things at once and it was kind of funny because someone made the comment that if we talked while eating we would fill up with air and that would produce gas and we would also have the feeling of fullness; The thing is that we all grabbed there and started to joke about not knowing if it was true or not and to my surprise I had not finished my plate and I was already full.

Then I was waiting for my fullness to go down and I got very drowsy, maybe because of the heat... and not even an hour after lunch and they also had prepared a dessert for us, and by the way it is my favorite dessert, a Venezuelan quesillo; and the saddest thing is that I could only taste it I really could not fit any more food, so I preferred to save it for the next day and by the way today when preparing my lunch to come to work, I realized that someone stole my portion, so no way I could not enjoy it as I thought I would.
