[ENG] Governance Proposal 29: Revamp Market Fees to Include 2% DAO Royalty

Hello everyone!

This is a video in Portuguese in which I'll talk about the Governance Proposal #29, currently open for voting, which modifies the Splinterlands card market fees in order to pay a 2% fee to the DAO (the Splinterlands community fund).

The proposed change is basically as follows:

• Currently, there's a 5% fee that is paid entirely to the market used by the card buyer. That is, if the buyer uses MonsterMarket to buy the card, 5% of the value goes to MonsterMarket;

• The proposal is to increase the fee to 6%, dividing it into: 3.5% to the market used by the buyer (eg Monstermarket); 0.5% to the market used by the seller (eg Peakmonsters); and 2% to the DAO fund.

Unfortunately, the proposal will probably fail, as it's currently under the voting percentage required for approval. However, I like the idea and voted for it: the more resources that are directed to the DAO, the better for the whole Splinterlands' community.

Nesse vídeo, vou falar sobre a Proposta de Governança #29, atualmente aberta para votação, que modifica as taxas do mercado de cartas do Splinterlands para direcionar 2% para o DAO, ou seja, para o fundo comunitário do Splinterlands.

A mudança proposta é, basicamente, a seguinte:

• Atualmente, a taxa é de 5%, e é direcionada integralmente para o mercado utilizado pelo comprador da carta. Ou seja, se o comprador usa o MonsterMarket para comprar a carta, 5% do valor vai para o MonsterMarket;

• A proposta é aumentar a taxa para 6%, dividindo-a em: 3,5% para o mercado usado pelo comprador; 0,5% para o mercado usado pelo vendedor; e 2% para o fundo DAO.

Infelizmente, a proposta provavelmente não vai ser aceita, pois está abaixo da votação necessária para aprovação. Porém, eu gosto da ideia e votei à favor: quanto mais recursos forem direcionados para o DAO, melhor para toda a comunidade.
