# Are you excited for Chaos? - Splinter Stats Season 61 Report Card
@luizeba
Hello everyone! One more season that just finished, how were your results?
Match Report
Performance
Stat | # |
---|---|
Silver Rank | 18394 |
Rating | 1710 - Silver III |
Rating High | 1841 |
Ratio (Win/Loss) | 1.04 (201/194) |
Longest Streak | 8 |
I was able to, as last seasons, stay confortably on the 1500-1800 Rating range. I'm feeling that the matches are becoming harder and harder, especially with more high-leveled cards being used!

I'm currently renting two high CP cards I have, as I don't have enough CP to go to Silver II. So I'm making an extra 400 CP per season just by renting those!

Yeah, Silver is ultra competitive. There are just so many different decks that you run into. Everyone seems to have a very unique approach and unless you can overwhelm them with superior decks, it usually comes down to guessing correctly on what they're going to throw at you. I find I do better in Gold. Still not great, but better. It usually takes me a good three to five days just to grind my way up from the 1600 rating I start at each season to the 1900 that gets me into Gold again. Part of that is dealing with cards that no longer have the Level 5 abilities and having to relearn what works, but it's still tough. Fun, though. :-) Can't wait for Chaos. Everything changes...
You were able to put in words what I always thought :D
Indeed; on Silver, there's no meta (besides the whole Venari Wavesmith combo). Everyone's just playing whatever they were lucky to open on Rewards or whatever overpowered card they were able to afford rent (like Yodin Zaku, Scarred Llama Mage or Kron the Undying).
As you said, in the end you won matches that you were able to guess correctly what the enemy was going to play. Water Magic Combo? Play Bortus + whatever monster with Void. Melee-heavy decks like Fire? Play Mylor Crowling. If you guess right, you win; if you guess wrong, you get rolfstomped.
