It was indeed a difficult and tough decision. But if the only option is to relieve someone's suffering due to an illness that is too severe and incurable, then all we have to do is willingly accept someone's passing if that's what it takes.

Excellent response, in fact, that was one of the conclusions we the family came to when we were at the funeral home, if we willingly accept a birth then we must also do so with death because it is the natural cycle of life.
