Saturday, the wind blows hard. With a hasty way, Marry is afraid of rain. The clouds are getting darker, Suddenly the sound of thunder boomed from the sky. "Duaar!". Marry was surprised to hear the sound of the thunder. It started to rain, slowly getting heavier. Marry ran towards a cafe to take shelter.

Marry's face looked unenthusiastic. The 18-year-old girl is struggling to find money for her mother's medical expenses, who are seriously ill. From inside the cafe, a 25-year-old girl appeared and approached Marry.

"Hey, it's raining hard outside and the weather is so cold. You better come inside" said the cafe girl.

Marry smiled and looked down. Marry didn't say a word. The cafe girl held Marry's hand and invited her to come inside and asked her to sit down. Marry looked nervous about her current situation.

"Relax, I work here, my name is Hanna, and you?" she asked.

"My name is Marry" Marry replied looking down shyly.

"So you want me to make something for you?" Ask Hanna again.

"I didn't bring money to buy anything here" answered Marry.

"Don't worry, I'll pay. I'll make a cup of hot chocolate for you," said Hanna.

Marry just nodded. She was very reluctant with Hanna who wanted to treat her while waiting for the rain to stop. While making a cup of hot cocoa, Hanna saw the anxiety and depression felt by Marry. But she didn't know what made Marry so upset. Not long after, Hanna came with a cup of hot chocolate for Marry.

"I see your eyes are a little glazed, what's stuck in your heart? Asked Hanna.

Marry looked at Hanna, "My mother, she is sick and needs treatment, and I don't have money to heal my mother, I have tried to apply for a job, but no one accepted me" said Marry while shedding tears.

"Relax, drink the hot chocolate first," Hanna said.

Marry took a sip of Hanna's hot chocolate, then smiled. Hanna's hot chocolate is delicious and sweet.

Seeing Marry smile, Hanna smiled too.

"If you are not accepted by the job, why don't you try business to earn money?" she asked.

"Business requires capital, I don't have capital to run a business" answered Marry.

"If I loan you money for capital, will you run a business?" she asked.

"Of course I want it. I will return it if my business is going well. If it fails, I will replace it in installments," answered Marry.

"Okay, so what kind of business do you want to run?" she asked.

Marry paused and looked down. The girl did not know what business she wanted to run to earn money.

"Hey, any business will always make money if you run it seriously. Now, think about what business is easy for you to run," said Hanna.

Marry took a sip of her hot chocolate and had an idea. "What if I sell chocolate? I will sell door to door and also promote the chocolate I sell on the internet and social media," said Marry.

Hanna smiled, "That's a brilliant business idea, tomorrow I'll take you to the chocolate factory. I happen to know their boss."

"Thank you so much, Hanna, you are very kind to me," Marry said hugging Hanna.

The next day, Hanna and Marry went to the chocolate factory. Marry got two dozen boxes of chocolates to sell. Day after day, the chocolate business run by Marry was going quite well. However, the money that Marry got from selling chocolate was not enough for her mother's treatment.

Suddenly, Marry's cell phone rang. It was a call from the hospital. Hospital officials said that her mother's condition was getting worse. If not treated quickly, it could get worse. The words of the hospital staff made Marry even more panicked. This is because the hospital requires to pay an administration fee in advance so that it can be handled by a doctor. Marry ran to the cafe and told this to Hanna.

"Calm yourself, Marry, tomorrow your money will be enough for medical expenses. You will get a lot of sales tomorrow" said Hanna.

"How do you know?" asked Marry.

"Now, believe me. Go to the chocolate factory and pick up 12 dozen boxes of heart-shaped chocolates" Hanna said.

Marry did what Hanna said. The next day, lots of people came to buy heart-shaped chocolates. It turned out that it was the day before Valentine's Day, so many people bought heart-shaped chocolates. Due to the large number of orders, the price of the chocolate that Marry sold also increased. It didn't take long, the chocolate that Marry was selling was sold out.

The profit that Marry got by selling the chocolate was enough to pay for the hospital bills to cure her mother. Marry immediately took care of her mother's administrative and medical expenses. Finally, her mother could be handled by a doctor. Marry thanked Hanna and gave her a chocolate. Now, Marry has succeeded in becoming a successful chocolate businessman. Her mother's condition is getting better. Marry also often visited Hanna at the cafe to tell stories.

The end.

This is a classic storyline of someone too destitute to pay for the relative's medical care until someone with better means helps them to make the money. (We do see many versions of this particular theme!)

One tip for you: Be sure to check for errors before posting. In this case you spell "Mary two ways: Mary and Marry.

Thank you for sharing your story in The Ink Well, and for reading and commenting on the work of other community members. Keep writing!

It is so good to know we have people we can count on, at mercy will have its course, and help came just at the right time.
