Los saltamontes los podemos encontrar de diferentes tamaños, y colores los mas comunes comunes crecen de 3/4 a 2 pulgadas, ponen sus huevos en la maleza por lo cual debemos tratar de manternuestros jardines libre e maleza ya que estos les encantan comer los hijos de nuestras plantas,los saltamontes solo pueden volar distancias cortas, por que que hacen que muchas veces sean tratados como como plagas ya que tiene una gran capacidad para destruir cultivos.

Un insecto totalmente hermoso ha e mas de representar uno de los más importantes a nivel mundial para nuestras plantas y cultivo, por su importante polinización a de más de brindarnos una deliciosa miel el cual tiene grandes beneficios para la salud.
