A trip to Yori Story

Good Morning to all my friends here.

A great day to start today. Why? Today is another public holiday. It has been a long time since the last public holiday that I had. Time to get some rest.

Recently, there is a new type of chocolate by Cadbury that is in collaboration with Biscoff that just hit the supermarket. I just wanted to share this. Well, chocolate is always something that makes me feel happy.

My hamsters had a couple of little ones. These baby hamsters are close to a week old. I usually separate the father of the litter from the mother to avoid them being eaten. They are so tiny at the moment. I've had a couple of batches before this, so I have already gotten used to handling small baby hamsters. One of the things that should not be done at this particular point of time is that I should not change the bedding or else the mom can't recognise the scent of her own babies.

After checking out the baby hamsters, I went to eat at a Korean Restaurant. This restaurant is owned by a Korean owner from Korea. I am not sure if shops are really decorated like this or not. I've not been to Korea before.

This restaurant is called

YORI STORY

This is the first time I have come here to eat. A week ago, I wanted to eat here, but it was already packed. The owner was nice, and he apologized.

So, this time I went during lunch time and the great news is that I was the first customer. Usually, it gets quite packed in the evening during dinner.

A lot of the diners come here for the self-grilling. I was here for the cooked dishes.

Some of the Korean Phrases on the fridge. While you wait for the food, you can learn some Korean phrases.

The side dishes here at Yori Story

I did not know that Korean Restaurants have these side dishes. The owner said that it was refillable at no cost.

# Kimchi

Fermented cabbage. I think this dish is acquired in taste. You need some time to get used to the taste.

A bowl of rice toppoki. I only slowly came to like this after my wife introduced it to me a while ago. The soft Topoki is chewy and dipped in tomato sauce.

I ordered the fried rice. There are bits of crunchy seaweed bits. Yummy. Are you a seaweed fan?

This is the first time I've eaten in such a type of container. The portion here is huge too. I did not know that. But we managed to finish all of the food that you see here in the picture.

Lastly, the Gimbap.

The Korean version of Sushi but without Wasabi. I also slowly aquired the taste. I am more of a sushi person.

Thank you very much for reading this post. Overall, this place serves good Korean food that is authentic.

Have a wonderful day ahead.
