Miri is located on the island of Borneo and is blessed to be a city near the coastline along the Northern part of Borneo island. Today, I am going to bring you to one of the best beaches here in Miri. The best time to visit this beach is during a sunset.

Lutong beach

The sandy beach. This is a popular spot for the locals and is a place where you can gather together for a family day as well as just to listen to the waves of the ocean.

As the sun sets, the skies turn orange. The best time to be here is when the weather is cooler.

Normally, these days, most families are busy at work and this is the best time to spend with their family. Bonding with their kids. We love keeping the beach clean and no one litters much. We do our part in keeping the beach clean. Sometimes, there are organized cleaning campaigns to clean beaches.

This beach is called Pantai Lutong in the local language which means the Lutong beach.

Everyone just enjoying their day and their silhouette. The other best thing is that this beach is not crowded so there is a lot of space for everyone to just walk around.

Slowly, the sun was setting and the sun was getting less visible bringing the light with it. The orange skies slowly turn dark.

After a lot of walking and watching the sunset, it was sad but it was also time to head back home. The night was coming.
