IMPERIAL MALL, MIRI , SARAWAK, MALAYSIA

It is currently a holiday today because it is Hari Raya here in Malaysia. Beautiful day with the sun shining through my window.

Up above the ceiling is the decoration for Hari Raya

Golden with frost shaped lights. These decorations change according to the festivals that are celebrated in Sarawak. The lights display. There are two different themes; 1. The garden 2. Underwater world

Both are pretty spectacular and beautiful.

Different colour flower petals on these trees.

The Garden

Enchanted garden with snails, butterflies, mushrooms and a windmill for you to take photos inside.

The Underwater theme

Those fishes look happy floating inside this artificial aquarium. I love to record videos and take pictures of moments in life. The display is going to be taken down in another two weeks. So at least there is a digital copy for everyone to see.

Fishes, Jellyfish and the main attraction here is the huge clam with a ball of light in the middle representing a pearl.

The clam looks like it is ready to gobble down a human. Luckily, it isn't real. Everyone who took pictures here did a good job of not disturbing the display so others who visit can enjoy the beautiful view. No tickets needed. It is located at the centre of the ground floor of this mall. They regularly change their display sets to attract patrons and potential customers.

The butterfly

Only in an enchanted forest, you'll be able to find a butterfly that has translucent wings and flowers that lit up. I can imagine myself inside a fairy tale. In a forest where Peter Pan would definitely love.

Colourful mushrooms

Blue mushrooms are beautiful but doesn't exist in real life.

While I was there, I saw many families with kids. Kids taking photographs. It's great to see the Malaysia getting normal again. It's just like the pre covid times. Except that things have changed technologically.
