Sometimes in life, we have to have some faith. This is one of my favourite places to visit if I want to have answers in life. There is a Nepalese monk here in Miri and this is one of the three places he has set up for those who want to come for enlightenment in Malaysia. He has been here for the last 20 years.

I went to find the monk to seek advice. One of the advice he gave me was to do more good, donate to the needy and reduce any killing where possible. Even small little ants.

I come here to pay my respects to Buddha and sometimes get some knowledge on my path in life. One of the most important lessons that I've learned from this monk is that we have to accept what lies ahead and never be afraid to accept fate.

You can make a wish here in this wishing well. Throw a coin into it and make your wish.

They are both from Nepal but speak fluent Mandarin.

Places like these are peaceful. A place where I can relax and do some meditation.

Usually, I come here and take a joss stick , kneel, and pray to Buddha. My wishes are just for my family to be healthy and happy. Health is wealth.
