The Taro dessert. This type of dessert is quite popular in Miri at the moment. Most of what is in this dish is handmade. They are made from yam, pumpkin, and many others.

First of all, it is quite colorful. When you look at it, you'll feel like you want to eat it.

This restaurant just opened not long ago and one of the things that attracted us to come here was the Taro dessert here.

Those are super shiny windows. Superbly clean to look at.

It was lunch time when we were there. We ate lunch and were on our way to have some dessert.

Bearbricks

These are very expensive toys that anyone can own. The owner of this restaurant bought the original ones and one of these cost a couple of thousand. I think it adds a bit of aesthetics to the cafe in a way.

The menu

A menu that has pictures has always been some of the best types of menu. It makes it easier for us to visually look at the food.

So what did we order?

How does the owner come up with such a name? For me, I can remember this. What if I was a tourist from another country? I guess the pictures really help.

My wife already imagining what she's going to have

No smoking premise. The good thing is that nowadays, most parts of Malaysia has made it hard for smokers to get hold of cigarette. It's also pretty expensive to get a packet of them.

We had to order at the counter and pay

After around 15 minutes, the plate of The Osmanthus honey three mixed tau fu fah came. We were pretty happy. Why? It was a bowl, That's what we thought.

Just compare the size of that to my wife's hand.

So after some digging, we found out that it was not a bowl. It was a plate on top of a bowl. That being said, we enjoyed ourselves sharing this and eating. I usually seldom order this. So sharing makes sense.
