Late-night coffee at THE MOSS

Good Morning to all my friends.. It is another Sunday today. How has your weekend been? In the last post, I wrote about my visit to the aquarium shop. This shop specializes in ecology and aquascapes.

Is everything great?

I recently went to an aquarium shop in Bintulu. This type of shop is rare in Miri, where I am from, which is in another district in Sarawak.

The best thing to do in the evening at times is just to have a cup of coffee before heading to sleep.

A moss ball.

The easiest type of plant to take care of. These mosses grow rather slowly and only a couple of centimetres every year so it is a good pet. In an aquarium, with moss like this, it can be used as a playground for small shrimps to breed and grow.

Some snails. These are some of the best to have in a tank just to make sure that they clear out algae in the water.

The brown leaf at the back is used to stabilize the water quality.

Some sea corals are kept here. This is quite difficult to build indoors. The conditions have to be perfect as anything that goes wrong from the pH value to the temperature, and everything inside this tank is going to get in a bad state pretty quickly.

These are the congo tetras that I have not seen before. I wanted to buy some since they look quite unqiue and could have been a great addition to my aquarium but, I asked the shop attendance and she told me these are quite aggressive fish.

They have a small section dedicated to their coffee and I was here for some late night coffee.

Two cups of Moss Coffee ready. I wanted to come here to get their coffee as I came here a couple of months ago but they did not open due to the holidays. Now, they are open for business.

Some Angelfish. These are quite hardy to keep. I have had a three that lived for three years until I recently got more goldfish in the tank and they started refusing to eat and went to heaven. Sadly. They have grown quite big already.

A cup of coffee before heading to bed.

This is definitely one of the best places to get coffee here in Sarawak. The price is quite affordable too. You can also enjoy the view of the fish swimming around.

Ordered these two cups of coffee for around MYR 11.50 or around 2.80 USD.

Hope that you enjoy reading this post. Have a wonderful Sunday as always.
