Luak Esplanade beach

Miri is getting more and more picturesque. I am going ti bring you to a beach here and the view from the top of hotel. Miri is located in Sarawak and was the first place in Malaysia where the first oil well was discovered.

I have been posting a lot of food post recently. So, now am posting some pictures of the city. The city is not big but is growing.

The view of the city

This was taken from the seventh floor of the hotel. Wow, imagine swimming here at night. Looking at the city. One of the best things about this city is that it is safe.

There are still a couple of tall buildings being built at the moment. In a few years time, this whole place is going to look very different.

Next is the Tanjong Lobang ⛱️ beach here in Miri.

Just look at the way the water reflects the sky. The best time to come here usually is during the evening when the weather is cooler and the skies turn golden orange.

The sounds of the sea waves 🌊 are quite relaxful.

The sky turning golden as the sun 🌞🌞🌞 sets. The best thing to do after a whole days of hard work.

A little pathway where you can just sit down and watch the sun set.

The access way to the jetty.

A video tour of Tanjong Lobang beach, Miri.

This is from my channel. Subscribe if you want.

Thank you for reading this post. Have a great day ahead.

My hometown! I didn't realize they've finally place some embankment stones by the beach now. I also see the Tanjong Lobang pier is no longer connected to the beach because the sea has been encroaching. Quite sad as this is the effect of rising sea level and beach erosion right in front of our eyes.

Hey sorry for the late reply. Nice to know it's been finally rebuilt!

Yes I am in the Peninsula now and regrettably had been ignoring my Hive account. Thinking to get back actually.
