My Aquarium - my beloved goldfish

Good morning to all my wonderful friends. How has your week been? Can't believe that it is another Saturday today.

I recently changed the water in my aquarium. I also got a few new goldfish in my tank. After clearing out some of the water here, I put some medicated salt into the water.

It's quite relaxing to look at the fish swim around in the tank and slowly see them growing in size from day to day. This is my tenth year, or a decade, into fish rearing.

My Goldfish loves the limelight.

In my goldfish tank, I have not placed any plants inside the tank. A couple of months ago, while I slowly increased the goldfish population in the tank, I noticed that some of the goldfish got stuck in the plants. So, I removed most of the plants and just kept it clear to let them easily navigate around the water.

I have got a lot of Orandas and some ranchus.

Orandas have this hair-like growth on their head, and it grows over time. One thing I found fascinating about Goldfish that I did not know earlier is that the black colour slowly fades into a different colour depending on what food you feed them as well as what environment they live in.

This is what my tank looks like. I recently got a new stand last month, and the lighting is new too. So, it greatly enhances the aesthetic of the tank.

Next to this tank is the Molly tank. That tank has lots of plants. Molly's need it to give birth and is a place where their young can hide from predators while they grow.

There were stones a while ago, but I recently removed most of it. There is still some left that I am going to remove slowly. This makes the whole aquarium look brighter and cleaner.

Feeding time. They know who you are, especially if you feed them every day. Once they see you coming, all of them slowly rushes to greet you. Maybe, they want some food.
