Welcome to Santai C'toh and try out some of the local food here. This small little stall is located in one of Miri's most popular malls here. A of the staff who work in this mall usually also come here to eat.

Let's go to eat at SANTAI C'TOH. A special and unique name for a restaurant.

So, what did I eat? The national dish of Malaysia.

Nasi Lemak

This is one of the best creations on earth. A half-sliced egg. Coconut-flavoured rice on top of pandan leaf. Sambal - a special Malaysian sauce that adds an extra layer of umami to the whole mix. The fried chicken here is fried with lots of different spieces.

Not that much space but enough for a meal. I was here with my wife.

Kopi C milk

Ice Coffee with milk in Malaysia is called KOPI Peng Kosong. Kosong, no sugar. I did not want any sugar in my coffee. The caffeine is enough to supercharge my day.

We ordered some Satay too

Grilled meat on a stick. It tastes like a kebab but the Malaysian version. These are like snacks that you can easily just eat.

The satay here looks quite clean. This plate of satay is amazing. Clean and the sauce is slightly spicy but not too spicy. Just right for my taste. Then there are some cut slices of cucumber. Some fibre.
