Has your week been great? At the moment, it is already mid-month. Wow. Time sure flies, and in a month, we are going to be in the middle of the year. I am going to bring you to a place that recently opened in Bintulu, known as Tea Garden. This place serves very good local delights. Why is this place special? They have made their way into the Malaysian book of records for the most baked rice, as well as selling a lot of Hainanese Milk Tea in a year.

That is something amazing.

The cuisine Focus: Authentic Malaysian local delights and traditional Hainanese coffee shop

A modern concept based on the traditional eateries here in Malaysia.

My first impression is that this place is quite nice and clean. A lot of spaces. This restaurant serves halal food.

Their main signature dishes include their Signature Baked Cheese Rice, Hainanese Chicken Rice, as well as traditional toast.

Their porridge

A hot porridge for dinner is really appetizing and the best way to enjoy the evening.

Why is this porridge yellow? This is one of their specials: the pumpkin porridge.

Black Glutinous Rice Ball Soup

This is the type of desert you get at this shop. What sweetens this bowl of goodness is the red bean paste. Then, the best thing is that it is best eaten when it is hot. The glutinous rice balls break open with a flow of red bean filling that burst out with lots of flavours.

They also have this special coffee. The three-layered coffee. I love to drink coffee. Even, it is the evening and after I take a sip of it, I can sleep quite well.

This is also one of their special dishes. The fried carrot cakes. A must try at their restaurant here.

This is their famous Hainanese Milk Tea. The most sold in a year and is in the Malaysian Book of Records.
