The Streets of Macau

I went to Macau a while ago while visiting Hong Kong. One thing that I noticed is that there are people everywhere.

Next to the Ruins of Saint Paul is a temple.

This temple.

After praying at this temple after visiting the museum here, it was time to explore Macau. There is this other place that I want to visit which is the replica of the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

A photo that I took of this slope in front of the temple. It's amazing how all these buildings have been built onto the mountain slopes.

The lower parts of these buildings are usually businesses, while the upper levels are mostly places where residents stay.

This is an area that I noticed a lot of people taking a photo at. This is one of the popular photo areas.

Travessa da Paixão, also known as "Love Lane."

A romantic place where you can bring you loved ones and take a photo here.

Macao's historical architectural style is a mix of traditional Chinese and Portuguese influences. When you walk around Macao along these narrow alleys, it feels that you are in a European city.

A police car was parked in the middle of the road. You can feel a sense of relief everytime you see a police car nearby.

A small museum displaying the relics of Chinese Culture.

There is a section in the museum where the houses are traditional. So, I could not help it but to take photos of the place for memories.

I don't think anyone lives here anymore. These are preserved for future generations to look at.

400 years of Portuguese influence. I did not see many Portuguese here.

This walk own the cobble stone path feels like part of a movie set. But this is not a movie set.

One thing I found a bit difficult to use is the public transport. It took me a while to find a bus, and I had no idea where I was heading, but I took it anyway.

In the future, I need to stay here for a couple of days to have a rough idea of what city life here would be like. There is a free bus that directly travels for international travelers starting in January which when you arrive at Hong Kong International airport, you do not need to exit the Hong Kong International airport and directly head to the bus that directly leads you to Macau.

Thank you very much for reading this post. Have a wonderful day ahead.
