TOYOTA BJ40 from the 70s
This pick up used to be yellow. It is fully black now. Road legal. My brother in law bought this car a couple of months ago from its owner who was migrating overseas. This is a look at what cars used to look like in the 70s. It did not have a roof. He also has an FJ cruiser that he has modified that I will be sharing in a later post. There are not many BJ40s in the world at the moment and this particular one has been well maintained. The owner fixes cars. A great off road vehicle for outdoor camping and jungle trekking.
TOYOTA BJ40

Cars from the 70s are usually very tough. Much tougher than cars today. The paint job is superb.
My wife with her cute pants

Taking a picture of the car. My nephew washing the car.
Metal rope pulley

The last time I saw these were in a Jurassic park movie. This is quite useful to get out of sticky situations especially in the jungle where the roads are muddy and wet.
The dashboard

The time when the dashboard had lots of mechanical and manual gauge.
My niece and nephew

Having a great time at the back of the car.
Caleb testing out his father's new car

Learning to master the car at such a young age.
TOYOTA LAND CRUISER

The original Toyota vintage logo on the vehicle.

Really cool fog lights.
Caleb testing out the different buttons

So many different buttons to press.
Vintage Toyota logo. Wow.. Can't believe that this car is from the 70s.

The front view of the car.
The side view of the car.

All black. Some parts of the vehicle have been added to the car.
The back of the car

One spare tyre in case of any emergency.
Vintage dashboard of the car.

It's amazing to look at everything still in such great condition.
