Walking around Kota Kinabalu city area

It's evening and we are walking around Kota Kinabalu City. Just a couple of hours ago, I arrived in this city by car. I drove more than 8 hours to get here. Let me show you around the city area. The skies were slightly dark, it seemed like it would rain.

Kota Kinabalu

Kota Kinabalu has always been one of the destinations that tourists love to visit. Lots of natural sites to visit and there's shopping too. Many street signs here have Korean wordings.

Been a while since we came here.

Long pathways sheltered from the rain. If you to get some food or anything, you can just walk into the entrance and head to the shopping malls inside.

My mom-in-law came here in 2016. It has been such a long time since she last visited Kota Kinabalu so we wanted to show her around.

Lots of cars around the city area. I parked in the car park at the hotel. Walked around. The footpaths here are quite tourist-friendly.

Lots of beautiful islands to look at. The islands are popular. Tourists usually travel there to enjoy the beautiful sandy beaches.

There are several markets here too.

This is what it looks like to walk along the pathways that run all along the waterfront. The sky was quite dark. It was going to rain after this.

A seahorse roundabout in front. You can easily walk around here. It is quite safe.

I am not sure if this is a fishing boat. But it looks like it's quite comfortable for its occupants inside. Sabah is also famous for its seafood variety.

The next post is a visit to the Filipino market and the local market. I wanted to get some local Avocadoes but they did not have any.
