WONDERING DINNER AT WONDERING SEAFOOD RESTAURANT
Dear you.. Reading this post. I hope that you will continue reading. I am @luueetang. Today I am going to bring you to one of my favourite places to eat here in Miri. This place is always fully booked. So in order to get a table, my wife had to book earlier on. This meal was on me. I had gotten my payment from YouTube.
Wondering Seafood restaurant
The food here taste really good. No joke. This is one place that you can try out here if you do visit Miri some day.
The owner's wife is from mainland China.
The lanterns. The festive feeling eating here. There are also lots of seafood to order fresh from the aquarium. I did not order.
It was 6. Not many people yet. Until half an hour later when the whole place was packed up.
My wife reserved a table a day ago.
There it is our table. I invited my family over.
At the far end, on the right of that huge poster.

This restaurant is quite successful. It is packed every single night. Full house overnight. Anyplace that is fully packed daily definitely has delicious food.

While waiting for the food, one can admire at this particular painting and just enjoy the strokes of brushes that went in to create this piece of work.

I seldom take a lot of photos nowadays, but occasionally. Anyways, time for the food.
Maling chai
This is one type of vegetable that is found here in Sarawak. Usually stir fried with eggs. It is delicious.
An hour later
This place is full of people. All filled up. Everyone waiting for food. Hungry.
MILIN
This fern is found in Sarawak. Cannot be farmed. It is usually gathered near swampy areas by hand. It has that crunchy texture. French fries. But vegetables version.
Pork and broccoli
I am not a pork person. I don't really enjoy eating other meat usually other than the chicken. My dad loves to eat this.
SIZZLING BEANCURD
It sizzles while it arrived. There are eggs beneath those bean curd pieces. Highly recommended.
Sliced bitter gourd with century eggs
This is an amazing dish to eat. The century egg is something that you have to really try.
SALTED EGG CALAMARI
This is delicious. So chewy. The salted egg taste gives it that savory goodness.
Finally soup
Fish maw soup.
The air sac of a fish made into soup.
Fortunately, shark fins are no longer desired in Malaysia. In the past, you can easily just order a bowl of shark fin soup. It's bad for the sharks.

Hi hi.. Sharon.. great to see u here.. Wow.. it's great to have a Malaysian dish that may interest you.. wahahaha.. they are only a month old but are known as the century eggs. They are fermented.. =)
Mmmm, fermented as in a chicken fetus has grown?
Hahaha fortunately, no chicken were harmed. Just the egg soaked in salt solution for a while. Hahaha

Local food recommendations are almost always reliable. I don't know if I'll ever be in Sarawak to visit this place, but who knows? I got to visit Kuala Lumpur a few weeks back, and I didn't even dream of going there. 😁
Hi hi my bro.. in the future u can drop by Sarawak. Especially Kuching. If u come to Miri, you can visit Brunei too. How was it in KL? Honest review if can.
