My regret

I lost the opportunity of drawing close to you.
I lost the prospect of showing you, my tender love.
You tried your possible best to bring me close to you,
But I took all your efforts for granted.

I didn't appreciate your presence,
I didn't know I will lose you,
I didn't know I would lose my only Grandpa.
I was young and inexperienced.

Now you're gone.
Now it is too late to show you how much I cared..
Now it is too late to appreciate you,
If tears could bring you back,
I would have cried a million tears, my dear Grandpa.

I feel broken,
I regret and I feel so sad you are gone forever.

    This is exemplary poetry. When the time is ripe to show love, one shouldn't extend saying it. Love should be expressed and not mourned.

    My heart shrank when I read you. I immediately remembered my dear grandfather, I loved him very much and I still love him, he was like my father. Sometimes we make mistakes that we have a hard time making amends for and then come regrets. We must show our grandparents how much we love them. And if it is one in particular that he has been very good. Poetry full of many emotions together. Greetings

    Losing our loved ones, it is the hardest thing we can live.
    It takes to process and we will never get over.
